Kmart Goulburn

Plenty of stock but central checkouts are awful, & is understaffed later in the day. Good for cheap essential items. Some prices have gone up, never any cashiers on the checkouts forced to use self serve, chased to scan barcode on the reipt after making purchases

Good variety and prices. I like occasionally catching a bargain in the discounted books section.
I don't like the bag checkers after you go through checkout and try to leave - it feels like you're a criminal every time you walk out and have to prove your innocence. It just puts a damper on the experience of shopping there. They don't even say 'please', just say that 'I need to check your bag'. The older guy today ignored me on the way in and didn't say hello or smile as the younger ones often do, but then pulled me over as I was leaving with four children in tow and somewhere to be, to inspect my bags and have me dig out my receipt, questioning me about my purchases. No 'thank you' or niceties when he'd finished, just a dismissive wave of his hand as soon as he'd glimpsed my receipt.
I also dislike that there are no servers at the checkout anymore and you aren't given an option other than self serve. There often are no staff there to assist if you have an issue with it.
Other than that, I usually leave with what I went looking for.
I will go here if I need something urgently but much prefer to go to the places with quality service, better quality products, and locally produced stuff where possible, where I'm not made to feel like a criminal on leaving.
Why go here when I can have much better experiences at the markets, at small businesses and other places and leave feeling good.

Great store I love Goulburn was good we go here every Saturday for lunch. Have lots to choose from and buy at great prices staff so friendly.

A happy place. I'm not a huge fan of KMart's company-wide policy of putting the check outs in the middle of the store and then having someone check you've paid when you walk out, but that's literally my only gripe.

Very silent and nice for shopping.cheaper than sydney Kmart. You can almost everything ranging from kitchenware to bedroom and living room essentials.

Range greatly improved over Target predecessor. Offers for Xmas saves travel to busy Centres, as parking not timed pay

As far as kmarts go not a bad store for variety the only thing I noticed was there were a really large amount of tops and the range of women's shorts wasn't so good and what they did have were shockers, cloths I wouldn't be seen dead in and the quality wasn't so good either gotta have bottoms to go with the tops but I also bought a cooler bag which was really good Arctic was the brand and we got 3of the gel packs froze them put them in and kept our drinks cool for hours good value for $25

This is a medium sized Kmart. Tidy. Caring staff.
Kmart, of course, is one step above Reject shop, and one step below Target. Really, you can do better than Kmart.

Products we needed were easy to find and well priced.
Service at the service desk for a Cash & Collect was excellent. In fact I have always had exemplary service at the Kmart Service Desk.

I was there in the morning of 22/11/2021, The ladies opened the store 10 minutes later than it was supposed to be and they were so moody and rolling their eyes at everyone.
Because we had to wait, my partner and I were in a rush so we went quickly out after we purchased our item as the self serve receipt part was glitching and being extremely slow so we didn't wait for it and were stopped at the door and accused of stealing, the lady at the front made us wait an additional 10 minutes whilst they checked the machine and literally all we got was a like 3 dollar packet of Velcro's. The other lady stacking the shelves near by was muttering rude things under her breath and they were both very condescending.
Once they realised we hadn't stolen and I was now late for work, they just rolled their eyes and didn't even apologise.
On top of that, they are so strict with showing your vaccination certificate and wearing a mask but the manager was walking around coughing with his mask not even on correctly, just resting on his chin.worst experience out of any Kmart I've ever been to.

Do ot use KMart online, they use Australia Post, lost pack with $100 worth of products, and they want me to wait 48 hours, and whwre is the package gone gone gone

What fool in charge thought it would be logical to put the checkouts in the middle of the store? Bad idea.

Just simply love Kmart the staff team are incredibly helpful and the store has a massive range in toys, books, clothes, appliances and more.

Young girl on the front door checking my trolley on the way out asked me did I pay for 2 items in a loud voice when she had the receipt in her hands! Letting others go ahead and singled me out! As a regular shopper im disgusted I was treated this way! As I said to the young girl read the receipt!

Kmart Goulburn is a wonderful store with something for everyone. If they dont have what you want they will and get it for you if possible. The staff there will go that extra mile to help. Yes this store is second to none.

I love that they do a clearance rack for clothing and shoes, I have found some excellent bargains. I bought 5 pairs of womens brogues for only $4 each!

Not as good as when Kmart store where 3 times the size but they still stock and carry your daily basics

Good store with well priced items. Free underground parking. Still not a huge fan of centralised pay stations.

Only self service checkouts, when I asked why, I was told only 1 person could use them and they had finished their shift. I was told I could go to the Service Desk. After waiting at the Service Desk (or lack of Service Desk) I was told she could only lay-by things there. If I wanted to wait for the person behind me in the queue to lay-by their items she would consider serving me.
