Kmart Bankstown

I have shopped here for 20 years and realise the centre is renovating. But today for the 7th week in a row I have walked in to find the store is hotter than the 40 degree heat outside. Within 20 minutes I felt faint but all I can think of is your poor staff working their 4-8 hour shift under these conditions. This is disgraceful and hope they know their rights and contact their union or workcover. Either fix it or close it till the air con is fixed. 7 weeks is past “getting it fixed” stage. This is a HR nightmare and Kmart Head Office you should be ashamed

Great customer service was provided to me by Luke at the printing desk (assisted and helped me choose the size and quality of the picture to print)

•no one answers the phone line, waited for 2 hours no answer

PATHETIC
Zero checkouts open at 10am on a week day.
How is this possible?
One poor woman manning the self checkout.

Thats ok, I dumped hundreds of dollars worth of items, and will not return.

Would you like the public to dismantle the checkouts for you Kmart of have us make the cloths with some raw material, then serve ourselves to purchase them through your filthy dirty machines?

Worst kmart ever. Stock everywhere.messiest store I've been too! And hardly any stock that you want, not that you could find it even if they had it.

The worst Kmart I've been to. Please hire more staff. Everything was a mess, and there is a lot of missing items, particularly in the electronics aisle. I went there two afternoons in a row. I noticed that there was a half finished bubble tea on the shelf the first afternoon. When I came back the next day, it was still there.

Don't bother with the click and collect. Went there at 1pm on a weekday, and waited 20 mins in a line which didn't seem to be moving before I gave up and went home. There were people lining up behind me, and they were all not happy. Just got to another Kmart if you can.

Terrible service. Some of the staff (particularly at the self-check out) needs to pick themselves up and provide quality service, including communicating effectively/properly to assist customers.

Especially during this pandemic, they're not even understanding or sympathetic with customer's concerns regarding the spread of bacteria and proper hygiene as the store should maintain. This store needs to have better management and employees.

Messy and low in stock most of the time. It’s also the only Kmart that hasn’t been renovated yet. Checkouts are full and floor plan needs to be fixed to avoid long queues. 2 stars because Kmart always has good prices.

Lots of varieties of everything from clothes, toys, shoes, bags, snacks, cosmetics, gadgets, and others we need…centrally located in Bankstown Mall and close to other shops, post office, banks, medical centres and more…highly recommended?

If the rating was for bad attitude of the customer service counter team member I would've rated it 5/5 stars. If she rolled her eyes any more it would've dislodged it.

I should've just walked out and not ask for any help and gone without. Would've had a very pleasant experience.

Love this place! A range of items at affordable price and quality! Opens till late as well which is a bonus!

On their website it says closing time 8pm. I went there at 7: 30 and they wouldn’t let me in their excuse is that there are too many people inside the store, they can’t let anymore people in, if they do let them staff will have to stay later than 8 closing time This is customer service I am shocked

Some staff are racist. Made fun of my accent. When I said thank you.one Young male and a young skinny female staff.xenophobia

Not conducting mandatory checks of vaccine passports in accordance with the law and therefore putting the local community at risk.

Store looks messy with mixed up items all over the shelves. Some shelves are very empty and ran out of stocks.

Too small and the layout is just weird compared to the rest of the kmarts. You also need to show your covid vaccine.which I find discriminated.

Best place to shop for a variety of things in Bankstown including home furniture, car accessories, clothes, toiletries, toys, electronics, etc. The prices are reasonable and at the same time the quality if goods offered are spot on.

Shopping Centre had enough parking but got busy. Shopping centre was okay & had a nice variety of stores.

At kmart Bankstown right now, 45 minutes before closing time and they are not letting customers in. Very disappointing. Droven20 mins to get here to get told csnt go in with 50 mins left of opening time.
