Kmart Armidale reviews
38Your Armidale NSW store needs a serious overhaul. It is miserable looking. Womens wear is cramped. Open checkouts and not rely on self service and give people the choice to use either.
The staffs can't do proper refund. Very disappointed by the customer service. I have to asked twice if she refunded the correct amount and got a replied that she did. But only found out when I've checked my bank statement that she didn't refunded the right amount.
TIME WASTE. I am sick of going to this store with a purpose of purchasing a particular item. This is not the first time Kmart Armidale does not have something in stock when both the online and in-store systems say the item is “in stock”. Absolutely over it. From now on, I will be clicking & collecting every item I need form this store.
A God tier experience akin to the ecstasy of an illicit libation. A cornucopia of wonders greets you at every shelf; fine silks from the far east, potions and treats too countless to name, marvellous toy and contraptions who's working would boggle the sharpest minds. A twelfth century wizard
Kmart is cool but let you down at checkouts. Compulsory self service, well give me staff discount as I'm made do your job.
I only ever go here with my kids. Otherwise I wouldn't visit the place. The few times I have gone looking for something, they have been out of stock. It's okay. Nothing else.
KAREN ALERT: Janet! When shopping at Armidale Kmart make sure to look out for our “Karen” Janet. She’s not only rude to her customers but also to her colleagues!
Not bad to shop I think they're understaffed. There's always stock everywhere to put on shelves. The quality I have found from clothes to over the door hooks which I bought recently and I put it away until I had a chance to put it up took it out of the bag and the part that goes over the door had broken off. No docket. I have to glue it. But it probably won't be able to hold any weight now
Unfortunately, K-Mart is the only show in town but that's not to say they have nothing to offer the budget conscious
Always seems to be dirty, never has everything you need and I know it's small but as it is the only store in armidale with a opening time of 8 it's very annoying that I had to wait for 20mins for them to open and thus be late for work as I required a specific item that at this time in the morning could only get here
Just rename it Anko Mart. Not a fan of the self service registers either, woefully understaffed at times
It's a Kmart: they're all pretty much the same. This one gets even more busy than a 24hr Kmart I lived nearby in the city (which is saying something). It's almost always packed. But very clean and tidy.
Poor compared to others. Dirty and staff malingering talking about personal issues. Also very grubby and grotty around the floor. Compared to other stores I've visited. Suppose they try. Lol
Clean and well spaced. Not necessarily laid out in a manner that makes sense, but that's not their fault.
Still the “old Kmart” layout and a bit dated. Has everything you expect from Kmart and decent service the majority of the time. The clothes section can sometimes be terribly organised. Can’t ever spend long periods of time here because there is no airflow and it gets super hot in store and makes you feel you you are going to pass out, I feel sorry for the workers that have to put up with this. There is not a great range of products but it does have mostly everything you need. Lots of local people are employed here and the store is important to the town.
Staff are pleasant and friendly but every time I’m there and requiring customer service they are so slow and unkind. Today, after both staff members walked away (mind you all they had to do was put my photos in a sleeve and hand them over as they were paid for and finished printing), I grabbed the photos myself after waiting ten minutes with an unsettled baby and on a time limit as I’m from another town and as I did a staff member FINALLY came back and gave me an attitude about how I’m not supposed to do that. The time before that we were directed to the loading dock so the staff knew we were coming and even after ringing the bell AND calling the store they didn’t come, we had to drive all the way back around to the store and ask somebody to come out. And the time before that while heavily pregnant had to stand around for 20 minutes waiting for the staff to answer the laybuy assistance. Coming from hospitality and retail I absolutely understand how busy things can be but the customer service is quite poor and to give your customers disrespect and attitude when you’re clearly thirty something old is a bit shameful and embarrassing. Step it up, don’t know how the managers of this store can let their staff treat customers like this.
Can't give less than 1 star.oh well, the staff are nice and helpful. Want a delivery? GET THE QUOTE FOR DELIVERY IN WRITING (preferable written by a lawyer / online only). In store, $25 becomes $40 despite assurances from Manager and these being two chairs that fit together and can be lifted by one person in one hand (just bulky).
It's better than Big W, that's enough for me and there's always at least one person manning the counter, rather than funneling everyone through self serve
I love kmart. I can always find what I need here. I buy a lot of my pet accessories, work clothes and shoes from here and I'm never unhappy.
Excellent Kmart. Maintains its original, simple, easy to navigate layout; unlike other stores in NSW. Good range, good staff and problems are solved swiftly.
