I see Shane to help with a few niggly issues in my back & neck and I always leave feeling better. I like how Shane first tries to troubleshoot the cause and other contributing factors, asking questions about stress, sleep patterns etc and then tailors the remedial massage to what part of my back is most sore, rather than just doing the exact same full body massage everytime. I think this helps me get the most out of the massage. I always recommend Shane to my friends & family!

Suffering from lower back pain and a possible pinched nerve I went to see Shane at Kintsugi Therapies for Acupuncture and also moxibustion. After my first treatment I felt immediate relief from the lower back pain and improved range of movement. Shane also used some massage therapy during the session. I found him to be very knowledgeable, kind and professional with a range of modalities to get you back on your feet. I spent quite a lot of time with Shane over the 5 or so months I was in Sydney. I’m a former collegiate athlete who has put his body through the wringer and continued to spend a lot of time in the gym. The acupressure massage and cupping work were incredibly helpful as I pushed through some thoracic muscle issues that caused a lot of tension in my neck and shoulders as well. We also worked quite a bit on my glutes and hips. I ended up coming in weekly for multiple months and Shane was always a pleasure to work with. As a bonus, the cupping bruises are a convenient conversation starter.

I first sought out Shane for a displaced jaw to which I had several acupuncture sessions along with remedial massage that helped me enormously and he also prescribed Chinese herbal drops which was a formula specifically made out for me by Shane for helping with calmness and sleep, I would highly recommend these combined remedies for any solutions that you may have, Shane has also helped my lower back problems with acupuncture

Shane is an incredible wholistic massage therapist. I have neck and shoulder issues that very few remedial massage therapists are able to help with, let alone fix in a few weeks, but Shane did it. Compared with concurrent physio and Chiro Shane’s massages offered me the fastest substantial relief from pain from my cervical vertebrae that had me in agony and taking painkillers until I saw him. Shane is intuitive and knowledgeable with myofacial acupressure and trigger point release as well as highly effective with cupping. He's also personable and genuine. Thanks Shane. After contracting Covid on a trip to the USA, apparently the long flight home contributed to succumbing to pulmonary embolism - blood clots on the lungs. Although relatively unscathed by the ordeal, the worst part was the fluid on the lungs resulting in constant and annoying coughing. Days in hospital, getting pumped with medications did little to alleviate the cough and the inability to take more than a shallow breath before rib pain would set in. A short consultation with Shane, a thorough drilling of my condition resulted in a small bottle of Chinese Herbal medicine, custom mix for my flooded lungs. Just after two doses, I could feel my lungs drying up and the ability to breathe normally returning. Within days, the magic potion fixed what weeks of regular medication could not.

Couldn’t recommend Shane enough! Went for dry needling and massage treatment for a long term injury that was holding me back from sport. Was met with a fantastic service and a great result!

I have had back problems all my life and went to Shane to help me out. We had a brief consultation and went through some treatments. After a few sessions my back started to release itself and I’ve never been better in my life. Shane is so approachable, down to earth and personable. He takes your overall bodies health seriously and is never rushed during the consultation. It has nearly been a year since I had my first massage and try and seem him every week. Couldn’t recommend him enough!
