Kingscliff Nursery

We were nervous trying this place because of the bad reviews. But it’s close to our new home. We got quite a few plants, and they handed us this note when checking out that said if the plants die it’s on us, don’t try to return them. That gave me a really bad feeling as we have done up a few gardens and have never been handed a note like that so I just had a feeling they would die for them to have to hand out notes like that to their customers.
As expected, half of the plants died. We have never had plants die on us before. We didn’t bother calling the nursery as they already told us not to. I relaxed the dead plants with the exact same type from Bunnings and they are doing incredibly well.

Great selection of plants that you actually want to buy. Great prices and knowledgeable and friendly staff. Had umbrellas for the rain which made it extra enjoyable for a stroll in the drizzle. Would definitely go back.

Nice selection and we thought the prices were very reasonable. Came away with three citrus trees, a quite developed Euphorbia and four bags of potting mix for a little over $150.

The first time I came here I really truely loved it. It's such a beautiful spot with incredible views, the staff were really nice and let us use one of the golf karts to drive around and grab plants I told my friends about it but they all had the same treatment and experience a lot of these reviews had and I thought surely not.

I went back and we asked to use the kart again because we were planning to get a quite few plants but we were yelled at for asking by some old man. No matter how nice I tried being and trying to let him know no it's okay we're fine to walk and just carry every thing he carried on and followed us everywhere. Literally breathing down our necks and watching over our shoulders in an uncomfortable creepy way. We put everything back and just left.

I was so shocked because having had such a great time the first time round and bragging about it it's so disappointing. Please do better.

Btw The second star is for Sally, sally is great. Get rid of the old man. Keep the dog tho.

What a lovely well kept Nursery with great variety and fantastic prices! Found certain species of very hard to find plants.
As an experienced Horticulturist, I highly recommend this Nursery to everyone.
2 lovely ladies who served me were very helpful and friendly.

THE WORST! Terrible customer service from a moronic worker who verbally assaulted us with unsolicited aggressive advice. And lo and behold when I go to put a review on here are so many other one star reviews from people who have had similar experiences.the plants looked alright. Shame about the people. And shame there isn't a review less than one star!

Owned by the Basil Fawlty of the nursery industry. I recommend you go there just to experience the rudest 'service' in all of NSW. It's quite an achievement, but I think he's done it.

Just had the rudest man named Greg answer my phone call re requesting wether a particular plant was in stock. Very aggressive and gruff to the point where I actually queried was he a little insane.perhaps on set of dementia. Certainly will not be visiting there to spend my money.

Pros:
Plants are sun hardened
Well priced
Good amount of landscaping plants

Cons:
If you expect a bunnings like range of plant's that have been raised indoors then go to bunnings.

Customer service is not their strength.in fact I think they dispise the everyday shopper especially the older gentleman who I think owns the place.

I continue to shop here despite the cons.

Been a few times as it’s the closest to me. Not that nice, and certainly not helpful. Keep driving…

The staff at this nursery are beyond rude they have anger management issues. Nil interest in selling plants or providing information. When asking about a particular plant the male staff member became hostile telling me ‘you’re really irritating me’. Then the staff member required de-escalation techniques to be used as he found my salt surf life saving tee shirt infuriating. At Kingscliff nursery the inmates are running the asylum.

Visited today the owner was very friendly, prices are great and the stock was tremendous the best nursery I have visited for a long time. It is definitely worth the trip from Brisbane.

Bought quite a few plants from them in the past, they all died, my neighbour experienced the same thing. Plants are in poor condition, staff not very helpful, save yourself the trouble and dont buy plants from here!

Dismal. Customer service was so bad I swear they dont want customers. Probs a drug front or something coz they cant be making money with their service. *thumbs down*
