Lovely dining experience at Kindness Vegan.
Very tasty dishes that leave you wanting to come back again - thoroughly recommend.

Not sure why this place has such good reviews, the food is subpar. Ate here twice and still disappointed.

Absolute rubbish. I have been here many many times but moved out of area 18 months ago. Dropped in last night and spent over $150 and was so looking forward to it. So so disappointed. The roti used to be our favourite and now the watered-down version simply sucks. Avoid this place.looks like new owners cutting corners. Plastic containers (used to be bamboo), cold food, bad service, watered down sauce. I am sure they gave us rubber not tofu.

Food was good! The green curry had a good depth of flavour; beware as it is decently spicy! Ask them to tone it down if you can’t handle the spice.

Really delicious vegan food on a lovely little square. Food was reasonable and extremely tasty, and the staff were really lovely. BYO if you want something alcoholic. Would definitely go again!

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Kindness Vegan and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The menu offered a wide range of delicious vegetarian options that were both flavorful and beautifully presented. The staff was friendly and attentive, making the dining experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend Kindness to anyone looking for a fantastic vegetarian dining experience

Very good! But be careful when you order a curry (spicy) they are really really really spicy!

Lovely little pocket of Darlinghurst. Ordered spring rolls, laksa and Tom yum soup. Tom yum was lovely but the laksa broth tasted like watered down satay sauce. The dishes overall were on the sweet side.

I love their food… As a vegetarian, have so many options to choose from.
The best is to tofu cakes and seaweed tofu which I tried for first time and it’s yummy

The food is incredible. My favourite vegan restaurant in Sydney, and I'm confident carnivores would leave just as happy. Seriously amazing, don't hesitate to go.

This is our favourite local! Be it sit in (byo) or take out, kindness is amazing. Food menu is great, highly recommend the corn fritters… restaurant service is great and although sometimes slightly frantic, they acknowledge and serve you within minutes.

I'm giving this 5 stars because I'm an omnivore and the food was still SUPERB. In fact, the vegan meal was much better than many similar meals I've had containing meat. Delicious, hot, fresh, and fast. Keep it up.

I really love that the food is vegan. So healthy, better for the environment, and still packed with flavor! Dined in with my partner and father and our dog on a Friday night and boy was it packed. If you hate crowds, come on a week day. The plaza style dining arrangement is very nice and airy, but a little crowded. I had to shimmy my way between two tables to reach my seat. Bathroom situation is a little funky as well—a shared bathroom for all plaza diners situated around the corner down an alley that is unlocked by request of a key-on-stick from the restaurant.

Atmosphere aside, the food is fantastic. We got a massaman curry, a curry with veggies, some apps, and of course steamed rice. I think having brown rice would take this place to the next level.

Been here three times and the food is always fantastic. Plus tonight the server ran all the way up to Oxford St because I forgot my bag. Such lovely people. I’d give them six stars if I could.

We ordered take away and we couldn't be happier with the food really tasty and filling! The ladies were really nice, would 100% come back

It's not very often I have come across vegan Asian food, so I was pleased to find this place. I had the Pad Thai with vegan chicken (a dish I love but can never enjoy as a vegetarian) and it was amazing! Their vegan chicken is scrumptious. My partner had the Hainan Chicken & Lemongrass Rice, which was such a simple dish but bursting with flavour. Even the rice alone was delicious. And the staff were a delight, very friendly. Looking forward to coming back again.

You have to come and try! The food is honestly some of the best vegan food in Sydney, and has very unique faux meat options I haven't seen anywhere else. Seating is all outside, so make sure to factor that in if it's chilly!
