Kinda-Mindi Early Learning Centre - Wetherill Park

My daughter started at Kinda-Mindi at the end of March 2023. Genny was very informative during the walkthrough and initial introduction of the center. We initially decided to send our daughter here for a number of reasons - based on location, cleanliness and presentation of the center, but what we really do love about the center are all the incursions the center has had to offer thus far! All have been engaging and informative - a great experience for the kids indeed!

Since starting at Kinda Mindi this year my daughters knowledge has grown exponentially. She has also become very fond of all the teachers. Such a great centre! We love that the centre has a child based learning structure!

I highly recommend Kinda-Mindi Wetherill Park! The staff are fantastic and really care about the children. They create a nurturing and supportive environment that encourages children to learn and grow. The Centre is always clean and well-maintained, and the facilities are excellent. My child loves attending Kinda-Mindi and has made so many friends there. The daily updates about my child's activities and progress are also greatly appreciated. Overall, I am extremely impressed with Kinda-Mindi Wetherill Park and would definitely recommend it to other parents

Kinda-Mindi genuinely cares about the development of your children and are not only a ‘child minding service’ like many others out there.

They have planned activities to keep them learning all day and often ask parents for input on areas to focus on.

This is coming from a mum of a high-needs child, they’ve really tried everything possible to ease him into the transition, and I really appreciate the kind and understanding staff who always go above and beyond for the kids, plus theres always extra staff around to help out.

There is plenty of room for the kids to bounce around and the toys are rotated and cleaned regularly which is just one of the great things about the centre.

Very friendly staff and easy to talk to. Always trying their best to accommodate my child's needs. The centre itself is consistently clean, tidy and well decorated. The daycare always takes feedback to make their programs better for the kids and their wellbeing.

Kinda-Mindi Wetherill Park has been great for our child. The centre is clean well organised and inviting. Communication with the Educators and what is sent out to parents on Kinderloop in particular is great. It is easy to see that all the Educators care so much and that our child is learning so much. We would recommend anyone to send their children here.

I have had the pleasure of working at Kinda-mindi wetherill park since Kinda-mindi took over from the previous ownership. I have never felt so supported by an organisation not only by ny fellow educators and director but also by higher management who know me and the children in the centre personally. I am praised for my achievement and feel personally appreciated. Since starting at the centre I have seen it go from one strength to another with all educators and management wanting the centre to continually improve. I feel very lucky to work at Kinda Mindi.

The staff at the center were friendly, professional, and clearly dedicated to providing the best possible care for the children in their care. They took the time to get to know each child individually, and I could see that they were genuinely invested in their well-being.

One thing that really stood out to me was the variety of activities that were available for the children. From art and music to outdoor play and story time, there was always something fun and engaging for the children to do. And the staff did a great job of tailoring the activities to the age and interests of each child.

Overall, I would highly recommend to any parent looking for a safe, nurturing environment for their child. The staff are truly exceptional, and the facilities and activities are top-notch. I feel confident that any child who attends this center will receive the care and attention they need to thrive.

If you value the safety of your children, please avoid this centre. One time my daughter my had a scratch on her eye, we were not informed of the incident and they were unaware of how it happened. They said they will investigate and write an incident report. When we had to follow up on the report as they failed to keep us posted, we asked them to inform us directly if any incidences occurred. Requested they check the nails of the other children so they can be cut. Today upon pick up, there was another scratch and they did not take the incident seriously. This is a form of neglect and neglect is a type of abuse, your children are being abused in this centre. Kindly avoid this place.

At the beginning I thought it was going well at Kinda-Mindi, but that didn't last long. Two weeks prior to taking my 1 year old out I was informed that he was bitten on the head by an older child from another class but was reassured this won't reoccur as they will be placing barriers between the classes. Well this didn't happen and in his last week I received a call saying "there is a small scratch under his eye from another child but we applied an icepack and he's fine". At pickup I was basically in tears and couldn't compose myself because this wasn't just a small scratch and I was told it had gotten worse since I received the call, photo attached for reference. It has been almost a month since this incident and I am still working with doctors to help my little one recover without scarring. The entire incident was handled poorly and I no longer trusted them to look after my son, as this place wasn't safe for him anymore. This is also being reported to the department so that I can raise awareness and hopefully prevent another child and parent from going through the trauma we went through.

I honestly can not put into words how amazing Kinda Mindi in Wetherill Park truly is! They have recently re-opened with new management and new staff. The educators are absolutely amazing with both of my children. In particular, my daughter who has additional needs. They have accommodated every need of hers, been inclusive and understanding. It is incredibly hard to find a childcare willing to go above and beyond the way that they have for my little girl. The staff are so compassionate, caring and patient. They have honestly become more like family and my children are absolutely thriving in their care. Do not hesitate! I can not recommend them enough!
