Kidmed Medical Centre reviews
13We had incredible support at Kidmed over the past five years. When my family wasn't Australian citizens yet, we didn't have access to government services. But people at this clinic became very important for us, helping us through my child's health problems with kindness and gave us special care. We saw two doctors here, Dr Gill and Dr Arman. From the moment we arrived, everyone was so friendly and understanding. The front desk girls went out of their way to help us, and their kindness meant a lot. What I love about this clinic is how they make us feel special. They helped us with everything we needed, understand my child's needs, explaining things in a way we could easily understand and guiding us through the tricky healthcare system.
I recently visited Kidmed with my child as a centre with a very good reputation and our doctor was amazing.
The receptionists were incredibly friendly. They made us feel welcome right from the start and even offered to spend some time with my child, drawing and sharing her apple, when I needed to run back to the car. That extra touch was heartwarming.
Great doctors, very caring and polite! My son was really comfortable with Dr Arman and he is very generous with time! Staff are nice and helpful.
My little boy has been seeing Kidsmed since he was a new born. He is now 5 years old and so well looked after from ALL the staff at KidsMed. They not only look after his vast physical needs from eating, bowl movements, physical development and motor skills but also emotional and social challenges The team at kidsmed are so supportive to my little boy and also myself giving me advice and tools to help my son. They make us feel at home every time we visit. The receptionists do every thing they can from printing out special colouring in sheets to remembering things he likes to make him feel important and welcome. The facility is so beautiful and bright with colours and activities for kids, it feels happy and welcoming when you walk in, just like the staff. I must say I have known most of the staff for years and get a hello hug even from Doctor Babajanyan himself. It is a place where you kid isn't looked at with a label, they are a person a beautiful individual in which kidmed do all they can to support your child but also yourself. I recommend using them for any concern, they are happy to help with every stage of development
Great doctors, but the receptionist with the accent was rude, and has no people skills whatsoever. 2nd time I’ve dealt with her rudeness
I have personally used Dr Arman Babajanyan for many years and I can’t speak highly enough of him.
I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Arman Babajanyan, a pediatrician who came highly recommended for his expertise. I must say, my experience with him was nothing short of extraordinary.
Dr sumanth is great but the receiptionist (the one with heavy accent) is very rude and very unpleasant to deal with.
They are amazing, could not be where I am today without the support and help from the team. Benji is now a happy little boy and as a family we now understand what was wrong and now to work with it. They are never to busy and always help as the situation changes. 5 stars! Highly recommend.
Much needed pediatric one stop shop.should be more of these. I was recommended by Nurses in Westmead and Penrith. Very busy efficient practise.
Reception staff unhelpful and didn’t forward documents onto the dr that she needed before our appointment. Appointment was therefore a waste of time. They also didn’t give us any update when the dr was over 45 mins behind schedule.
Please do not take your child to see Dr Arman Babajanyan. We first saw him when our breastfed bub was one month old to correct his tongue tie, which went well. At that appointment, I stated that I believed he was reacting to any dairy in my diet. Dr Arman dismissed this outright and directed me to reintroduce dairy immediately. However, this caused my bub’s eczema to worsen so I eliminated it again.
We then saw him again when bub was five months old. By this point, he was often fussy, had pronounced eczema, and his weight has dropped from the 92nd percentile at birth to the 20th percentile. Again I voiced my concern about a potential food allergies and again he was dismissive.
Dr Arman could have instead asked questions to learn more about why I suspected food allergies. He could have suggested ways to investigate this possibility. Instead, he did not listen to me and directed us to supplement with a dairy based formula. That same night, after just consuming 10 ml, our baby was screaming and covered in full body hives, which warranted a six hour hospital visit in the middle of a pandemic. A month later, he still had raised IgE levels in his blood and flecks of blood in his poo. We’re working with other specialists and have since discovered 10 IgE food allergies, any of which could cause anaphylaxis. And again, Dr Babajanyan dismissed this possibility, which put my child’s life in danger.
Dr Arman Babajanyan needs to listen to his patients and their families. His decision not to has harmed my baby by inhibiting his growth and negatively affecting his health. He pushed formula and solid foods on a five month old baby instead of encouraging breastfeeding and investigating potential allergens. We will no longer continue seeing him, and we encourage other Blue Mountains families to look elsewhere.
