Kiama Leisure Centre

My partner and I drove all the way from Albion Park to attend the HEATED POOL for hydrotherapy for myself and for him to swim some laps at the same time. I usually go to Warilla heated pool 3 times a week but it was closed for holidays. I had phoned Kiama the day before to check if it was HEATED and was told definitely heated. This was not the case on 4/1 the water was freezing and when I complained on way out I was told it was because the doors were open and fobbed off which wasn’t true. Didn’t say she would inform the Manager. They must think I’m stupid, it was just like an outside Olympic pool. Definitely don’t go if you are looking for a heated pool for hydrotherapy, I’ve attended the best at Warilla and haven’t found anything that comes close to it, Summer, Winter, Spring or Autumn with the doors open and closed always 22-28 degrees. Other amenities were ok. Very disappointed. We paid money for petrol and entrance in what a joke. There are people who need a definite heated pool for physical therapy NOT FREEZING WATER which hampers movement.

Great place to take the little ones with a little pool and 25 metre pool, both heated and fully protected from the weather. Toilets and showers were clean and kept, wheelchair accessible all round with a ramp in the littlies pool i didnt notice in the big one, plenty of parking out the front, canteen and swimwear shop also. Affordable for the family

Swimming lesson for my grandkids. Great atmosphere, well laid out.clean.highly recommended.

Took my grandson here for his swimming lessons. Great spot. Disabled access. Helpful staff. I'm asthmatic and didn't find it a problem.

Great Leisure Centre to have in Kiama - without it Kiama would be boring - multiple things to do a a member in order to have a healthy lifestyle

Good facilities and good customer service, I visited the pool with kids 2 days ago in the afternoon and the girl at the desk was very helpful

I go there for the gym with my son who is 13. As soon as he turns 14 and can go to fitness 247 we will be switching. I have nothing positive to say. It's obvious it's run by local government not by someone who cares.

Great facilities and staff are helpful. Maybe a little overpriced but great experiences so far (haven't been going there for long).

Nice indoor 25m pool for doing a few laps. A kids pool too. Good shower facilities as well. All in a beautiful part of the world.

I was here with my Son (7 y/o) and family with multiple kids, this place is over priced for a pool indoors considering you have to pay extra for the inflatable pool tool, and that they offer no discount or concession for Defence or Veteran for myself.

I was watched the whole time and told not to do multiple things you would normally do at a pool, they are hugely regulated and are scared to let people have there own degree of risk.

There life guards are rude and are always patrolling I assume they are micro managed by there general manager which I was threatened with after I argued a point.

THE ONLY LEISURE CENTRE within cooee. Its a shame the illawarra doesn't have more. But I am glad for this one. The toddlers pool is great and a nice temperature. But the bigger pool is cooler and my toddler wanted to go in so I swam with him on my back. Before too long he started to shiver in this water so we went back to the toddler pool. They could raise the temperature of the water in the main pool to the same as the toddler and it would be much nicer. I also like how they weren't pedantic about covid stuff. Thank you for being nice!

I come from the sutherland shire and used to the sutherland leisure centre. Their pools are all very warm.

As I'm an incomplete paraplegic the staff are absolutely fantastic. They have all the equipment for me to get in and out of the pool when I do my Hydro with my Physio.
I cannot speak highly enough of the staff thank you all for your assistance and support.

Big pool and toddler pool, gym, spa, birthday party, creche and so much more. The place is clean and quite bright/welcoming. Only negative is customer service has been pretty bad over the years

Fantastic Leisure Centre, with heated Pool, Spa Sauna, Gym, Yoga & Pilates Groups & Kids Swimming Pool. A must for the Sporty Person

Great facility. We went to watch netball on the inside courts. Seating up high. Great place to watch from.

Lots of facilities and great staff but when it gets crowed after school when swim lessons are on it gets quite noisy and there isn't a lot of room to swim either after school.
Overall great place with hot showers in the change rooms.

Perfectly decent 25m pool and a smaller kids’ pool but also fairly basic. No lifeguards and a lot of kids running around doing whatever they liked as a result. Very good value for a swim.

I have been using the facilities for about 2 mths now, I have to say I am quite pleased with what they have to offer. I do the gold membership and have great access to all the activities on offer, I would highly recommend using this place for your activities etc.friendly staff, easy parking no waiting to use the gym etc.
