Used to come here weekly eat in & takeaway, unfortunately though the behavior of staff (specifically owner) turned me off. Rude and short for no real reason. Hospitality 101 tip for you KSK; be nice to your customers.

Friendly and attentive staff, all food are delicious! No wonder the good reviews. We had a wonderful brunch as a big group. Thank you so much and will definitely come back to try the sweets next time!

Coffee was great and the food was good as well. I had the fish burger and the highlight was the pickles which really cut the grease from the burger. There was also some herbs in the burger which gave it a unique flavour.

We love this place - the food and hospitality is always outstanding. The kitchen was closed so we bought the falafel dough, dips & cheesecake - all absolutely to die for! The owner is so kind, he even let us borrow his falafel spoon as they had sold out. We’ll be back again to return it and do it all over again and again. Thank you Michael and Kepos team.

Delicious, lovely cake selection and good coffee, excellent in lockdown. We need to wait until end of lockdown to try the food but will definitely make the effort.

Really awesome Saturday stall full of baked goodies and pastry delights. Favourite so far has been the Onion Foccacia and their collab with Brooklyn boy Bagels. Yum!

Tbh i don't know why this place is so praised. I think it's overated. I did join the long queue just to see why it's so crowded, but it certainly didnt meet my expectation.

Have eaten here before and enjoyed it but my gripe is with the coffee. The man serving was a bit rude, certainly could have been friendlier. The coffee was not good at all. I ordered a picolo and received what seemed like a weak milky latte. The guy just left our coffees sit there getting cold whilst he served people. Disappointing

A welcome full of warmth and happiness, excellent attentive service, and delicious creative food. We had the specials - a homely chicken broth served with the crustiest bread, and a beef brisket cooked to perfection, sauce on the side with a gorgeous zaatar bagel. But every meal we walked past looked incredible. First time coming here, and will definitely be back.

Favourite breakfast/brunch spot, outstanding list of options available and all such fresh, quality produce and made with LOTS of love. Also the best fridge filled with take home options which are to die for. Great casual vibe and staff are always super friendly!

Great little community focussed cafe right at the end of Kepos Street! This lovely cafe makes you feel extremely welcome. Decadent and balanced dishes with a middle eastern focus are the main offering here and they don't disappoint. Falafel for Breakfast or a Wagyu Arayes Pita for lunch you just can't go wrong!

Delicious food and vibes! The Mediterranean cuisine is authentic and very nutritious! The staff are lovely and sweet and it’s great to see Michael’s great smile as he flits through. Also love that Michael set up the deli during covid, it’s perfect for hosting with delicious meals!

Awesome food and service.
A really interesting variety in the menu, many vegan and vegeterian choices but not limited to those.
The preparation was fine and presented really good.
Good friendly service.
Wine list short but still interesting with internetional choices.
Overall good food, good service, good wine, fair prices.

I was supposed to be having lunch here with a friend just now, we rocked up and took our place in the line to get a table. One of the servers came out and started grabbing names and numbers for when tables became free, she got to the two Asian women in front of us and took their names, got to me and my friend (we’re both brown) took my name and got to the white lady behind us who I overheard give her name and say she’s waiting for friend to come join her, the server then says to her “well if you can be flexible I can give you a table outside” to which she says yes and immediately gets taken to her table and handed table water and menus. Mind you it’s very lightly raining but the table she’s been seated to is the only free table under cover. Note, she did not ask the two Asian women in front of me or me and my friend.
Normally I wouldn’t be one to let something like this anger me so much, but it happens far too much in the so called “inclusive” inner Sydney suburbs, overlooked at the line in the bar that I’ve been waiting at for 15 mins while the white person who just rocked up gets served before me, have staff follow in retail shops but the white person who’s sketchy in appearance but is free to roam the shop unaccompanied. Call it unconscious bias, racial bias, whatever you want but it’s simply unacceptable. How do you celebrate middle eastern food when you can’t treat your ethnic customers with some respect? ! Do better.
Maybe you can learn a thing or two from the cafe across the road (Bourke & Phillip St Brunch) where I ended up taking my business, where the customer experience is exceptional for all.

Chef Michel is by far the nicest and most talented middle eastern chef in Sydney. It's not just the amazing food, which is simply perfect and a delicious; it's the man- chef Michel - that give you every time the feeling like you sitting in his own house, and feeding you scrumptious food from his own private kitchen.bravo!
