Here's what you'll get from these smug connsters. Purchased an item from them over 3 weeks ago that was actually out of stock and advertised as being in stock, but they didn't tell me until I got back to them about 10 days after and they were very rude about it. STILL WAITING FOR MY PURCHASE WHICH IS BACK IN STOCK WITH NO REPLY FROM THE BOSS! APPAULING

Place for professional photographers and videographers. They are the importer and distributer for a wide range of professional brands. Not always the cheapest, but usually have direct access to everything.

Amazing Service and Support! I was in need of a printer replacement for one that decided to die in our last lightning storm and it wasn't an issue the printer arrived 2 days later. I'm a really happy repeat customer! Thanks for getting me out of a pickle amongst silly season!

I bought a studio flash here a few years ago (it was great), I also asked for a quote on a decent sized selection of studio equipment. I never heard back, seems no one could be bothered. I decided to give them one more chance recently. I am looking to change my ENTIRE camera system away from DSLR to a new alternative its a huge and costly step. When I called to explain I was told someone would call me back.haven't heard a thing. Maybe they are too busy, so am I. Therefore wasting my time for no result like this is very frustrating and a poor reflection on a company I have know in this industry for over 25 years.

I had to wait for some time to get a product as in store agents were 'too busy'.
And please note that they "do not price match"
Remaining was all good.

Product itself was great.
But ordered it 4 Nov and paid extra.for express delivery, was then informed it would take them two days to get the item, they got it four days later and I received it on 12 Nov - eight days later. No communication during this time until I enquired. Customer.service is.poor
What was the point in me paying for the express post with the impression that i would receive it within 2 or 3 days?

These guys falsely advertised their softbox as including an adapter that was not included with the received package.

When contacted about this, they've suddenly gone unresponsive and quiet. The advertisement was updated on the website, but they have done nothing to resolve the matter of falsely advertising the item, or to help get me the adaptor that was actually advertised. Can't be trusted.

If you're a hobbyist that likes using average brands go for it. If you work in the industry forget it. The customer service is dreadful. Nikki, Suresh and Peter all have been rude and lazy at one stage. Dreadful.

I asked them to transfer a light meter if it specifically had spot metering. Suresh said it did. When it camer I wasn't notified so I had to chase it up. I drove in to pick it up. In person I asked him, does this do spot metering. He said yes. I got home and lo and behold it doesn't do spot metering. Now I have to drive back to get a refund. Suresh didn't even offer a light mild apology for the inconvenience. I told him it would be standard practice to extend something more than total indifference. He just said ok goodbye.

Always exemplary service from the team at Kayell. As a professional photographer unable to visit the store in person (I'm in remote NT!), their staff are knowledgeable and always happy to answer my questions in depth when I call. Orders once placed are shipped quickly. I would not hesitate to recommend Kayell Australia!

Placed an order through webstore for a pickup and upon calling in a week later was informed that item had been placed on backorder for another 1-2 weeks; no update or communications from staff regarding order was sent out for an entire week; I promptly cancelled my order.

Won't be buying from here again.

Ordered printing paper in plenty of time for a job. Didn't receive any notification that the product wasn't in stock until I phoned a week later to find out where it was. Sales assistant didn't seem to give two hoots to the fact that I now need the product in a hurry. They charge well over the going rate for postage anyway and can't even guarantee the stuff will be dispatched in less than 4 days. Absolute shambles. There are plenty of other suppliers out there selling the same kit. I'll be using one of them next time.

High end photography equipment. Unlike most stores they have a large range of studio based equipment including strobes and printers. Also unlike other places, they have experienced staff on hand that can help with advice and training as well as the very important component of related stock such as printing media and ink etc.
Have not yet tried one of their training courses but will definitely be trying one so as to learn more about my new printer

If you’re after customer service don’t come here. I stood around looking to be served for around 5 to 10 mins and no one bothered to even say hello. Too busy on their computers to deal with physical customers.

One-stop shop for all of your studio and/or outdoor lighting needs. They have a wide range of products and the staff are very knowledgeable and keen to help you out. Totally recommend!
