Update: After 3 months into the Kava journey, I tried a few different Kava cultivars from various suppliers. However I keep coming back to Vula Kasa from Kava Pros - it hits just the right spot in body/head relaxation and is by far the easiest Kava to drink.

David's friendly advice along my journey was super helpful too!

We have tried a number of kava’s from Kavapros as well as a couple of other companies. Your company is our favorite and we have had quick prompt delivery’s from the company so thank you. We have two favorites at the moment being Fijigold but our favorite is definitely Togan Kava it is a very relaxing kava with full body experience. We usually do 4 tablespoons with 400 mls water than do a second go using the same Kava in the strainer bag and adding another 400 mls water drinking it pretty much straight away. If you haven’t tried Tongan kava, I don’t think you will be disappointed and as I said, this is our favorite at the moment. Anyway, that’s all for now. + Service and delivery - ultra quick and responsive. Answers questions very promptly
+ quality - I havent had many but this works really well with no headache, hangover or moodiness ive had with some other kavas
+ taste and texture - pretty good for something that usually gets called dirt water. The platinum is very light and easy to drink.
+ effect - this is the important one. My favorite was the platinum lewena. Such a nice motivating buzz, nothing crazy, still good if I wanted to do mundane tasks around the house but very relaxing. Ive only had it a few days but have been drinking before breakfast after a coffee. So good! This has high relaxation and recreation/medicinal value without any sedation! Almost feels like a better version of CBD to me. Heady and nice mood lift that lasts a good few hours setting up for a cruisy day. Still slept very well vs a heavier kava with a rested awakening.
I bought the gold too, that was more euphoric and heavy, still nice but for a regular use I'd personally prefer the pure lawena. I'll keep the gold aside for days I want to get to bed really early or the weekends for a big sleep in after a movie night.
