Katoomba Falls Tourist Park reviews
58Great location. Near to Echo Point & Scenic Railway. Camping site is large enough space for car & tent.
Absolutely a fantastic park that went above and beyond all expectations
On arrival, there appeared to be a mixup on our booking for a powered caravan site for two days.
Unfortunately the booking hadn’t gone through that we had made a number of days ago
The manager of the caravan park Said we could stay in a cabin for the same price as a powered caravan site for two nights which we greatly excepted
While the caravan park is situated right next to the Blue Mountains walks and numerous viewing platforms overlooking the vast National Park
Had no tv for the 3 nights we stayed in the Lawson cabin managers didn't even come and have a look we paid good money for this cabin not very happy
Absolutely lovely campsite with great spacious pitches, brilliant amenities, good wifi and placed perfectly to visit Katoomba (walking or by bus!) and the nearby Scenic World and Echo Point. My favourite campsite on our tour down from Brisbane to Sydney!
Upon arrival, without a booking, Matt made sure we had a place to crash even though the park was full. For that we are very grateful. The amenities are clean and the park neat and tidy. The proximity to the tourist spots are so convenient and those tourist spots are amazing. If we are ever lucky enough to pass this way again we will be sure to book in advance as it’s well worth a return visit.
Great park with awesome staff.
We stayed on a powered site, nice level concrete pad which made set up easy (no guy ropes for awnings tho). Amenities were nice and clean with heaps of hot water.
Directly across the road from the trails and spectacular views. Would definitely recommend staying here.
Really nice camp ground. Clean and warm showers. Laundry facilities. Quiet camp ground. Beautiful setting.
Great location. We rented a 2 bedroom, 1 bath with kitchenette. Our cabin was infested with cockroaches. Should I say more? Well yes. Dirty bathroom and kitchen area. We had to cleaning supplies and bug spray to make the place inhabitable.
So clean, the amenities were new, modern and spotless. Beautiful park, right next to scenic world, we would stay again.
Sehr schöner Platz. Sehr saubere und recht neue WC/Douchanlage. Nahe am Zentrum, trotzdem sehr ruhig. Hervorragend gelegen für Wanderungen in den Blue Mountains. In fünf Minuten Fussmarsch sieht man die Three Sisters. Der Platz ist sehr zu emfehlen.
Park staff were very accommodating and found a site for us last minute when we were in a jam at another unsuitable park. Meant the world to us. Had a site with heaps of room and green space for kids. Big shady tree, close to camp kitchen. Ideal spot for us. Location can't be beat. Two big reserve ovals next to park. Kids playground borders park too. Only 2 minute walk to a lookout to see three sisters. 5 mins to scenic world and Katoomba falls within minutes too. Absolutely stunning. Amenities are recently updated and really good. Good size shower with hot water and great pressure. Lots of toilets too. Laundry facilities good with plenty of clothes line space for all.
We loved our stay here and it truly made our trip to the blue mountains memorable.
Compact park great managers and close to all attractions. Suggest don't take site next to camp kitchen as can get noisy.
The blue mountains were amazing and the walks were easy accessible. One thing that could be improved is the conditions of the toilets and how we have to park on a slab. Do not book site 21 it is right near a big dumpsters.
We stayed here for 1 night on the way to Dubbo and 1 night on the way back was a fantastic place to stop over very friendly husband and wife that run the park the amenities were immaculately clean the heaters were also a fantastic bonus would recommend
Spent a week in the Wentworth cabin for my family of 4 grown ups. Location was excellent for all our hikes as we did not have a car. Bus stop in front to take us to train station and walking distance to town and closer homes. Cabin was spacious enough, clean, warm and quiet. We absolutely loved our stay and will definitely be returning here next year for some more hiking with another daughter.
Brilliant park lovely staff very friendly and helpful. Great position vetyclose to all amenities and scenic views. Loved it.
Great location and a well set out caravan park. I didn't like how I had to set my caravan up on a concrete slab though, because the slab was on the side of a hill and not level front to rear. This meant that even though my van's hand brake was on & the wheels were chocked on the concrete, every now & again it unnervingly moved down the hill slightly. After a 2 night stay, it had moved around 2.5 centimetres down the hill.and yes I know what I'm doing.
Great spot to pull up.what was the highlight you ask? Personal ensuite next to motorhome sites received an audible ‘oh my god’ from one of our party upon seeing the luxurious fit out, similar to a fancy pub in the big smoke.manager barry firm but fair re: 10am checkout time but the park bench <100m from the front gate provides a good breakfast spot for those who enjoy a sleep in.regards, the big 4 x
Friendly staff and service, quality of the camp-site was perfect! Clean amenities and camp kitchen. Very convenient, well centralised and well priced. I definitely recommend for any one travelling the road and need a decent place to stay up in the blue mountains
Excellent location, clean facilities, close to Scenic World and Echo Point, highly recommended.
