Kana Sushi Crows Nest

I had the teriyaki salmon donburi all though that is what it’s called it’s more like a stir fry. The salmon was over cooked and dry.their choice of red and green capsicum surprised me. The choice of putting a small salad mixed in with all the hot rice, vegetables and salmon was probably one of the worst decisions if the lettuce leaves hadn’t been basically cooked the salad could have been one of the more enjoyable parts of this poor cooking. The teriyaki sauce on its own with the rice was good the rice was well cooked not overdone and not undercooked. One of the worst parts of the whole meal in itself was that the salmon had some bones in it.

Ordered original boneless fried chicken and pickled daikon delivery via Uber Eats. The chicken was juicy and crunchy, very delicious. The daikon was ok, seems like it’s been sitting for a while so not as crunchy as it should be. Also at $7, I thought I’d get a decent portion of daikon. But no, just a tiny container. I’d get the chicken again, but stay away from the very exy daikon.

I've eaten a lot of chicken in crowsnest, but I think kana sushi is the best.
And very fresh sushi too.
I will come next week also.

Really, really exceptional korean fried chicken from this sushi restaurant. I get takeaway and the service is quick and the quality never ceases to amaze.

Terrible quality Sushi, will never go back. The seaweed, rice & seafood inside is not fresh at all and poorly made. The tempura prawn was cut into small pieces and had tails inside the roll

Rice too dry and hard - no more sushi from here. But crispy chicken looked good, will try those next.

I have ordered Korean fried chicken and also chicken katsu curry in the past. Very delicious and the price is reasonably good. Their quality seems higher than other Korean run Japanese restaurants. I will order from here again in the future.

Great food but very disappointing that you are not following covid safe practices and having people check in when being served. There was a queue today and pretty much no one checking in. Please put the QR code out the front and make sure people check in. When I mentioned this to staff they just ignored me and continued serving people that hadn't checked in.

As a salmon lover, I highly recommend this place. I have had salmon sashimi and few salmon avocado rolls today. All of them are really fresh. Staff are kind too:) It made my day in this blue period.
Definitely visit there again.

Nice food, very kind staffs and love the atmosphere of the restaurant. Always satisfied everytime i visit.

I had Sashimi Teisyoku.
Everything was fresh and tasty.
I should come back again and try another menu.

I went there on my lunch time, I ordered chicken katsu curry, It was amazing. I actually asked a chef then he said the curry and katsu were handmade.
You should try it.

I went there with my friends, we shared some food, especially tempura pawns were so good. I highly recommend you guys go there.

10/10 new favourite restaurant in Crows Nest! Really tasty and fresh menu, always a surprise and always delicious! The sushi is also lovely. Friendly service and very clean, definitely coming back.

Delicious Donburi bowl, came out within minutes of us sitting down, was super fresh and hot. My boyfriend had salmon, I had prawn katsu. Both were amazing. Would definitely come back.

Great customer service and the food was really really fresh, Specially, the salmon, The waitress girls are very friendly and the chef aswell. The teriyaki bowl was amazing!

Wow, I'm still thinking about my meal. So much flavor in my wagyu beef dish. Portion sizes were very good with seaweed salad, mixed greens, edamame, miso soup and rice included! Presentation made me feel like it was Christmas morning. Partner had the Salmon lovers which she also loved.

So happy this is in Crows Nest and definitely will be back again

Love this place. Great service. Small but lovely and cozy ambiance. Ordered the sushi combo for 25$ and everything was fresh. Serving is proportioned. Looking forward to try more of their menu.
