Just Cuts Macquarie Centre

We took our toddler to trim his hair and they make him cry the whole time and then charge us $33 for a terrible haircut, the hairdresser assistant hold our son head so hard like she is going to hurt him, we have to stop her and take our child away. Please don’t take your child to this place, we feel so bad putting our child through this and want to warn all the parents.

They did me so badly I gonna have to learn how to cut my own hair, I asked for a low taper with bulk in the back and they basically gave me a buzz

I went to get a concave cut long bob. My hairdresser was an older man, I specifically asked for the length to be past the chin. He quickly glanced at the pictures I showed him and went off to do his own thing, when I put my glasses back on everything was a good 4 inches shorter than I wanted. My length at the front sits on my cheeks well above the chin and he'd shaved so high (2 inches) into the back of my nape. It's like a bad 5 o'clock shadow. I was crying as he tried to convince me it was the same as the picture, then said it was because the picture didn't show the back, then because I had a cowlick and refused to show me the back in the mirror again. He got frustrated and said "don't pay for it then" and walked off to his next customer. Easily the worst haircut I've had. The lady hairdresser Neva was sympathetic and tried to tidy it up to make the stubble less obvious and said she never would have shaved it up into the neck like that, but the damage is done and over a year of growing my hair wasted. Will now have to go back every 2 weeks for a maintenance shave from Neva until my hair is long enough to cover the nape again.

Been to just cuts a few times and had my hair cut from a gentleman who was fantastic a while back. Today was a different story. I had a woman who was rough, and cut my hair in under 15min. My hair looks like a mushroom and is the worst hair cut I’ve had in 30 years.
As a disabled person I was not taken care of well and wasn’t comfortable at all. Very disappointing. Please have consideration and care for your future clients. Unfortunately I will not be returning.

Cut my hair extremely unevenly and inches higher than I asked for. Then charged me for a blow dry when I didn’t even get one and my hair didn’t even get washed. Whole appointment lasted 15 minutes and $110 was charged. Never going there again.

My worst haircut was today at just cuts macquarie centre by a Vietnamese lady. She cut my hair really short. I hate it.: (

Hit and miss. Your experience really depends on which person is cutting your hair. Today I had an awful experience trying to get my daughter’s hair cut. They didn’t use any water when they cut her hair so the end result was a hair cut that was sort of zig zag and not straight. Even after asking them to fix it there were still random long and short pieces everywhere. I don’t think I can go back after this experience.

Bit expensive feel.a bit like a number. Very auto check-in, you can get a cut for 35 at hairdressers.but still good cut at just cuts.

Went in with medium to long hair asked for a trim showed how much I wanted off and ended up having shorter hair than I’ve ever had in my life

Very bad customer service! Come in at 4: 35 Sunday afternoon but they don’t want to cut my hair and they said they closed already. In their website clearly shows they closed at 5pm? How come they said closed already?

Talking to staff was extremely comfortable and Penny was great at understanding my vague ideas and putting them into practice to get the haircut I wanted!

Quick, easy to book an appointment and good haircut. Good staff who listen to their customers and will give advice if needed.

I had Leonard cut my hair and he was amazing. Took his time and really excelled in making sure my hair looked good. He was very caring and friendly.

Love the place. My go to place to cut my hair. The only thing is that they need to update their open time. It says they’re open till 8pm on Thursday but when I went this week they told me they were closed at around 5: 15pm.

I’ve suggested a update to their close time to 5: 30pm for Thursday

Penny cut my hair today and she was so gentle and understanding. I wasn't sure how to explain what I wanted but she just knew haha.
Also, even the person at reception was warm and welcoming! I don't think I've been this happy just from getting my hair cut:) Great place and will defs be there for my next cut!

Literally the best haircut I’ve had, ever! Thanks to Penny at Justcuts Macquarie! I’ve always struggled with my absolute mop of thick bushy hair. Penny is the only one who has ever been able to thin my hair out SO much and make it look natural and pretty! She also got the style exactly right, which doesn’t usually happen. I always ask for the same thing at hairdressers, but get variable results ranging from butchered to barely touched. I’d just accepted that ‘close enough’ is the best outcome to hope for. But Penny really listened to what I asked for and put in the care, effort, and skill to achieve it! I rarely ever write reviews, but I’m so impressed and grateful. Thanks so much Penny!
