Johns River Rest Stop reviews
15Very nice place. 2 or 3 toilets out of holiday times, an additional 3 unisex in holiday periods. Dogs can stretch their legs. No food or drink here though but a nice stopping place.
Stopped in to use the toilet and was a proper flushing toilet with soap and water. There are 3 under cover picnic tables. No parking for caravans only cars but it seems to be quiet and there are other spots nearby you can pull up with a caravan and still use the facilities.
16 or so car spaces but very little room for caravans to park. You could go down a side road and park but then you need to do a tight u-turn.
Lovely place to stop. Great for dogs. Amenities run by volunteers. Please be sure to leave them a donation!
Great stop, especially if you have little ones. They are like 6 toilets, but just 2 were open (clean)
One of the better rest stops on our trip. Clean toilets. Play equipment for kids to run around and stretch their legs (and get some energy out)
Pleasant rest stop well back from the highway.
It is maintained entirely by volunteer locals.
Toilets were spotless.
Thank you John's River locals!
Wandered around the John’s River market. A lot of home crafted items and other good deals. Has fresh food and fresh coffee
Stopped to use the toilets. Beautiful area with lots of shade and greenery. The toilets were very clean and even had paper towel. There are also green bags for doggos.
Great community made rest stop that was well maintained with great customer service. If you go here do not forget to donate any change.
Toilets with a playground on one side and cafe on the other. Why didn't we know about this before?
Every second Saturday of the month markets are held at the Rest Stop. Lots of stalls and delicious and fresh cooked sausage rolls and cakes.
The food was terrible I couldn't chew the meat on my hamburger one guy complained about no service at all!
Traveling in either direction on the new and improved highway lots of these beautiful and quaint places are flashing past without you knowing take the time to stop and breath stretch the legs you'll lots of these hidden gems.
Every second Saturday of the month they hold market stalls. There is plenty of variety and they have fresh food cooked on site. It's worth the drive and a coffee and cake/ SAUSAGE ROLLS
