Stay away from this company.
Moved my Dad's deceased estate from Sydney to Melbourne, I was very careful to ask all the questions in regards to what would happen if anything was broken or lost by them. They wanted all money asap. Worker admitted to breaking items on arrival, i contacted company and was given the run around then all calls and emails were ignored. Ended up taking them to VCAT in Victoria, i won the case, Johns ignored that. Believe I may not be the only one to have made a civil case against them.
Bad reviews here are honest ones, good ones.look into them via fb etc, some are owners friends and even staff!
DODGEY

My brother gave these guys a $250 deposit for a removal. Not only did they NOT TURN UP but they have refused to refund his $250 deposit.

We had booked a job for 19th December 7am from Appin to Minto for my brother who has a disability and unable to lift anything. This job which was confirmed and paid a deposit of $250.they were an absolute NO SHOW and NO COMMUNICATION ON THE DAY! We have been trying since then to get the deposit back.we have given them more than enough time now.their excuse was they were too busy.well not good enough!
I will NEVER EVER recommend this business to anyone and I actually tell people who NOT to go with and that's John's Removals & Storage.they are located in Bossley Park. BEWARE

Stay away from these scammers they lie to you act all professional until they ask for deposit and still your money and didn’t show up on booked date they keep delaying the time!

They stuffed me around 2 days no one showed up,

No refund of my $200 deposit
Do not trust them with your money,

They lie saying there in Bossley park when they are in Queensland don’t fall for there lies!

Very unprofessional service! Owner has had numerous civil cases against him.
Took 3-man crew all day to load truck in NSW, after they were already late to show up, and arrived late at drop off in Vic. Refused to unload until balance of quote paid in full. Numerous items damaged and after many attempts for compensation, the owner fails to respond. The dodgiest removalists I’ve ever encountered.

They traumatized my mum, please Consider other options these guys only care about money and have no customer service at all.

Worst moving experience ever. These guys have no sense of integrity, they will promise you a lot of things and tell you what you want to hear but turn up late, talk rudely and damage furniture. HEADS UP, BE REALLY CAREFUL AND PUT YOUR MONEY IN RESPONSIBLE HANDS.

Very disappointed with the service.
Firstly they came 3 hours late and out of 2 guys only one guy was working and the other one was always on the phone and its matter because I was paying hourly rate for 2 guys, also they asked us to give a hand, broke some furniture in short they are not professional movers though very expensive.

I would highly recommend to go with other options.
