Best turf. I don’t really go shopping around for the cheapest so I don’t know how they fair against others but the turf is the best! Buffalo Matilda got delivered right on time. It was thick healthy and was not just the turf and roots but had a thick layer of the soil attached. Made laying it so easy and it took so quick! Laid turf twice in 1 year for two different properties and both times I had great service. Website is also really informative!

Great customer service and great quality turf. The guys turned up on time and were nothing but efficient and helpful.

Very disappointed and feeling scammed. After recent delivery of over a 100 square meters of turf that had black beetles and rolls of turf with little dirt or to much which gave me an un level finish.
I rang other company’s to compare the information given to me by John smiths turf and while they helped out they also informed me that John smiths turf don’t and never have owned a turf farm. They buy direct and resell from farms in Windsor NSW. After some research they have a block in Sydney where they distribute such turf. Looking at there phone numbers it appears to be a Sydney based company completely different to all other turf farms in NSW. Ovoid this business, pay the extra cost and buy direct.

We had a pre-quote for removal of existing turf, weeding, levelling & laying of new turf…. They later on said they “only lay turf”.

They sent someone to measure up and we have messaged, emailed and called for the past MONTH without any correspondence of a quote, just a “we will forward this message”

WE DONT RECOMEND THESE POOR SERVICES TO ANYONE esp in the building Industry

We have been very pleased with this supplier. Easy to deal with, delivered on time and grass weed free and lush.

The turf was pretty dead and had little to none dried cracked soil. Will never buy again from this supplier. It cost me so much more to try and bring this turf back to life. At first I thought how nice he offered to put my small order in my car, my fault I didnt inspect first and being so trusting. Do not use this company.

I was very pleased with the service I received from this company. They were very polite and professional on the phone. I called and ordered what I needed. They delivered the next day, and provided an invoice to pay. Before I could call and pay they rang to tell me it was on its way. I informed I had already received and paid over the phone. The turf looks great and I will definetly recomend to others and use again when needed.

Why bother with bunnings once a week delivery turf when these guys produce as long as you order in time. Used them for a home job and will now use them for my turfing and landscaping work. Easy access and easy to deal with.

By far extremely unhelpful customer service.

Turf delivered within 24 hours of placing the order. The total cost (including delivery) was very competitive. I would definitely recommend.

Disappointed with recent purchased of Greenleas Parked Couch. Majority of grass roles poorly cut were falling part. Black beetles in grass along with Weeds. Number of roles were dry and near dead. Moto; "Cheapest is not always the best". Recommend not buying grass from this supplier.

I’m not a customer of this company and I won’t be the one. One of the truck with plate “GRASS” drove along the M1 eastern distributor northbound on 10AM 31/10/2017 completely driven by reckless driver. On the phone, tailgates every single cars, and drove 15-20 above the speed limit, and intimidate car drivers that he tailgated. I got on my dashcam

Bought 75m2 of Sapphire buffalo turf. It arrived with visible weeds (winter grass). Pulled out all weeds on my hands and knees. It kept coming up, so complained to the company, all they could offer was for me to keep pulling the weeds out. Now Spring, I have been pulling out winter grass every second weekend and it's basically out of control. Site was prepared by a professional. Besides the weeds, the turf quality isnt consistent either. Some turf was very healthy with a sufficient amount of dirt underneath, other rolls had no dirt and struggled to survive. Because of this, the finish was uneven. I have ordered buffalo turf from another company 3 previous times and never had a problem. Will not be using John Smith again.
