Seem very picky with who they speak to these realestate agents!
Careful who you choose to go through.

Isaac Ventura is kind, approachable and reliable with his genuine heart, making himself available always for buyers' conveniency. He is knowledgeable regarding property market and the details of the property being sold, which makes buyers feel something 'gaining/profiting' not 'losing'. He really cares for buyers!

My Rental agent Rhett helped me rent out my property in just a couple days. He's knowledge of the market and advertising properties is unmatched. He's been helpful ever since we first got in touch.

This agency is by far the worst agency to go with if you are a tenant. The Property Manager was so unprofessional and obnoxious. When we called to reschedule a routine inspection because of severe illness and possible COVID in our household in winter, she refused to reschedule and advised (quote) we: “wait outside the house or in the car” until the inspection was finished.
She was persistent that we had no right to reschedule a routine inspection. So, we contacted the Department of Fair Trading and inquired about our rights (which is something all tenants should do) and they advised that we had every right to reschedule and can refuse them entrance to the property. Only when we advised the Property Manager that we contacted the Department of Fair Trading and threatened to take the matter further if we had to, did she finally agree to reschedule.
Honestly, we had problem after problem with this agency and the Property Manager was just shocking!
Another incident occurred when we were leaving the property and the Property Manager tried take as much of our bond as possible. When we initially leased the place, we noted a few problems with the property when one of the agents came for an inspection. We advised the agent that the toilet seats were not stable and kept moving from their place. The agent said she will note that down and advise the owner of the problem and get back to us. She also stated that the seats were cheap and that was probably why they were not stable. We never did hear back about the matter from the agency or the owner (even though we brought up the issue with several agents that came and went).
When we were moving out however, the Property Manager wanted to charge us to replace the toilet seats. We advised her that we had told a few agents (over the years) about the problem with the toilet seats, and they never did get back to us about the matter. She said that nothing was mentioned in the inspection notes and therefore we would have to pay for their replacement. We insisted she take another look at the notes, because we were positive that we did mention the problem a few times. She advised that she looked over the notes again and found no mention of the problem. We then asked for a copy of the inspection notes as visual confirmation (because we were positive that at least one of the agents wrote it down when we mentioned it to her). The Property Manager then finally admitted that she DID in fact find notes about the toilet seats, and that we no longer will be charged for their replacement.

We have had other problems relating to roof leakages and black mould in the carpet and room, which the Property Manager refused to assist with until we threatened to take the matter to the Department of Fair Trading.

We have proof of our correspondence with the Property Manager and therefore this agency cannot accuse us of suspicious or malicious intent for our honest feedback.

To sum up our experience with this agency: it is dishonest and disrespectful to tenants. A good piece of advice to ALL tenants leasing from this agency is: KNOW YOUR RIGHTS, because (from our experience) this agency does not know or care about its tenants’ rights and will not give you your rights unless you fight for them.

Anna and Rhett you are low life’s, preying on those weaker than yourselves and just plain bullies. You make up stuff with no foot to stand on. You may have found someone weaker than yourself with the way you acted towards me but trust me karma is real. I hope one day you 2 see someone close to you be treated the way you treated me so you can empathise better. Shame on you John b grant for hiring such people
As per below comment, none of this is true my rent was always paid on time and there was no damage whatsoever done to the property. I am no longer a tenant with you thank goodness. But it is my aim to have everyone know how appalling you and your team are. I have screenshots and emails which I can’t wait to share

You will be left with nothing but satisfaction with this team and you wonder to yourself why you never came earlier to this professional business. I really recommended.

The Agents are very sincere, on the ball and always willing to help. Any enquires are taken care of in just one phone call. Would highly recommend John b grant for any selling or renting of properties, as they have a great grasp on their local property market and are always willing to impart as much information to their customers as possible. They had my house rented in under 2 weeks. I’ve been happy with their services ever since.
