A great pool, indoor is a bit warm at times for laps but understand this is a small town pool and needs to cater for everyone, just modify my training. Outdoor is 50m and open during the summer months. Always clean and the showers are not timed. Friendly and happy staff. Not heavily chlorinated and you don’t leave smelling like chlorine for days. Lithgow pool is much better than Katoomba. Although, Katoomba does have a spa, I prefer Lithgow, it has a sauna too. I purchase the 30 visit pass and it works out $4.00 a swim. Great price for facilities and always get a swimming lane by myself.

Great pool, I go here regularly. Lovely staff are always attentive to patrons needs and safety, and it's always nice and clean!

Just needs a big shade tree in the SE corner. And a couple more picnic tables. Otherwise, GREAT!

Awesome place. I didn't actually go in the water because I'm a little b! Tch but my Kids had the time of their lives in both the indoor and outdoor pools. Very clean. Lifeguards everywhere. Great for families.

Although we live in Mount Victoria in the Blue Mountains we travel to Lithgow to use the pool there instead of Katoomba. It's such a great pool! The outdoor one is lovely with a grassed area and kids water area. Inside is a terrific pool for the colder days.

A very good facility for every age and level of swimmer (or non-swimmer). The staff are relaxed and friendly and the hot showers are free. What more could one want?

Nice outdoor playing area for kids, big outdoor pool, very nice indoor pool with integrated shallow pool. Clean changing room. Much better than Katoomba pool! Will be back.

Excellent facility, great location, both the indoor and outdoor pools make it so easy to do a lazy 2k’s
Facility is exceptionally clean and well maintained staff are courteous, excellent value
Of course the addition of spa and sauna would be excellent

Faced with traffic on Great Western Highway on return to Sydney from Dubbo this is a good facility for a refreshing dip and shower.

I attended this centre on a Saturday afternoon while staying in Lithgow in 2018. I've done a lot of swimming over many years and have been to many different pools. This is certainly one of the best centres in terms of the facilities. It is very new and modern. I came during winter when the outdoor pool was closed. The indoor pool is small, with five lanes for lap swimming. I was surprised to see hardly anyone in the pool. There were many free lanes and I had a lane to myself. This rarely happens in Sydney! The one issue I found was the temperature of the pool, at 31 degrees it was too hot. While it did feel nice getting in at first (and I normally hate cold pools), it wasn't appropriate for serious swimming training. I felt like I couldn't breathe properly and had to limit the fast swimming I did during the session. I appreciate this would be addressed during the summer months with the outdoor being open. I also appreciate that more serious swimmers doing 3km + sessions is not necessarily the target audience of this centre, but I would have trouble swimming here regularly.

Not a world class facility but still great for a regional pool. There are swim lessons nearly every day. Call or check there website for more details.

No facilities, no where to sit, just some benches along the wall, no spa, no sauna, no whirlpool, no dedicated aqua therapy pool as it has to double as the kids indoor pool. It's more expensive than Bathurst pool, for casual entry, it's cramped, with no comfortable seating and poorly laid out. I resent paying rates for this, we should have at least gotten something similar to Bathurst.

The pool was closed at 6: 59 after staff told us it close at 8 considering people do work on a Sunday and would like to support the local community considering living out of town I am not happy

Lovely indoor heated pool, huge 50m outdoor pool. Includes excellent disabled facilities. Deserves to be better patronised.

Canteen is total rubbish unlike in Sydney they have lots of variety of food, no nice green grass terrible fencing nothing spectacular and dirty showers so boring

Clean, water is not too chlorinated, warm showers to rinse before and after. Only downside can be there is only one lane left for public lap swimming when squads are on

I am at the centre 5 mornings a week doing aqua classes. I find the staff very friendly, even when they have difficult customers who can be very rude. Some times there could be a little more attention to the cleaning of the grounds but on the whole it is a great place

The indoor pool was freezing. There is no way it is heated to 28 degrees like they say it is. We couldn't stay because it was so cold. We'll go to Bathurst Pool next time.
