John’s training is spot on. I used JH prior to starting my Multi Instrument rating full time. His tutoring & Sims were amazing & it really prepared me better than I could’ve imagined.

John and his team are avid and passionate aviators and are great at explaining and assisting in the understanding of aviation as a science. I had many breaks between CPL subjects but he seemed to place me back on map every time. Excellent aviation tutor and a very convenient location on the airport grounds.

I cannot recommend John enough. He has helped me with 6 lever twin familiarisation, got my mark from 72% (failed first attempt) to 86% (passed second attempt) for the PIRC Exam, and prep for my upcoming IPC, both ground theory and on his fantastic simulator, and no doubt he will mentor me through the foreseeable future as I progress and develop as an aviator.

You don't even need to be struggling with a topic, a few minutes chatting with him and you'll be exploring new ideas and ways to understand things. Any aviation question you can think of, John will go out of his way to find the right answer and explain it to you properly. He is almost always available for you and willing to spend countless hours with you until you understand it 100%.

In my opinion, John's one on one lessons can save you heaps of time and money compared to going through a full blown theory course and targets the areas you struggle with the most. He is extremely knowledgeable, passionate and professional, and conducts his lessons in a unique, engaging and easy to digest manner. The learning space is well equipped, and a great place to focus, learn and study.

Best thing is, it's conveniently located almost right next door to the exam centre, make a coffee, sit down, study and relax before your exam.
