Jenny Dixon Reserve reviews
23All great to go for a bbq or just meet friends.alot of people like to excercise.beautiful view of ocean.good parking and clean toilet facilities. The entry to the beach has been fenced. Off to stop the large number people walking down to the beach. Been a long time with the entry to the stairs block by council fence. There is a walk way around the fence, expecting something wrong but no problems on the stairs and sandy beach. Alot of people on beach and in the water. Another example of council blocking public and not doing there jobs by looking after the public interest.see you there
Simply a beautiful and peaceful spot for a solitude walk, practice gratitude, mindfulness and breathing work. Plenty of friendly locals.
AlhamduliLlaah such blessing to live amongst this serenity and natural beauty.
Beautiful spot for a picnic or just to relax. Unfortunately access to the beach is closed at the moment but there is a large grass area to enjoy the view. There are bbq facilities and a kid playground as well. Great spot.
Nice place to have an outdoors BBQ. There are BBQ facilities provided. There is a stairway to the beach so it may be difficult for those with disabilities to access.
Well maintained public outdoor space with BBQ facilities and picnic shelters.and a great view of the beautiful coastline around Norah Head.
Wonderful place, peace & serenity in abundance, just wish people see the rubbish bins & use them
One of the quieter locations, there is a great grass area with picnic tables to enjoy some food and a short walk to the beach. Would go again
Nice area. Good for family and friends to gather
Just Need a MORE Car parking spaces and More tables and chairs
Beautiful, if you want to go to the end of the beach, check that the tide is out, and when it is likely to come back in… you will get cut off, if you don’t plan ahead…
Great area for a walk, swim, game or picnic. There are a lot of steps to the beach though! Saw a big eagle and often see sea Eagles and hawks.
Beautiful, peaceful park. Great place for family picnic/bbq. Bbq facilities, playground equipment and awesome views.
Beautiful views beautiful day stairs down to beautiful beach and lovely bush walk back up to picnic area
Great Beach for the kid's, had a lot of seaweed when I was there so if you're scared of seaweed maybe not the best beach for you. Also watch out for rocks while swimming.
Great playground at the park with plenty of seating to have a picnic or barbecue.
Great family place.
Great place for a family BBQ and picnic. Has toilets, plenty of parking and heaps of shade in the summer. Nice quiet beach if you are up to the 131 steps too. Just watch out for the ghost.
Good place for family BBQ or having lunch with family and friends. Has a good sea and light house view. If you are after a sea beach, it's not a kids friendly one.
I went with my eldest son & his wife & children. It was around 5: 30 pm & the breeze was lovely. There were a few people there but no one else using the BBQ's. It was very pleasant. After eating we enjoyed a game of Boche together. A lovely evening was enjoyed by all of us.

Jenny Dixons Reserve has showers and toilets that should be Heritage listed as well as critically acclaimed buildings and infrastructure, not to mention the local area Urban Myth and Council legends status it has. They sure dont build'em like this anymore. I was thinking this on my visit today when I was looking at the amenities block and a few males were having their cold showers after the mid morning swim and bluebottle count.
Had a Christmas party at Jenny Dixon reserve, was a great location with bbq, loads of parking, shade and nice grass for the kids.
