I purchased a Google Pixel mobile from JB Hi-Fi Macquarie Centre about five months ago. Unfortunately, within just two months, the device started experiencing issues. Trusting in the store's service, I returned it for repairs in November. They informed me that it had to be sent to an official Google service center for a thorough check-up.
The process, however, has been incredibly slow and frustrating. After waiting for one and a half months, I contacted the store on January 1st, only to be told that due to holiday-related shipment delays, my phone was still not repaired. When I followed up last week, I was informed that it was still at the Google store, and I was promised a detailed update the following day. Sadly, it's been three days since, and I have received no communication from them.
This experience has been highly disappointing. It raises concerns about the quality of the phones sold during promotions. It seems there might be a pattern of selling partially damaged phones at a discount, which is unacceptable. I regret choosing to buy my mobile from JB Hi-Fi Macquarie Centre, especially with a mere $50 discount, which in no way compensates for the inconvenience and poor service I have experienced.please don't get mobile from this store if there is any offer

What a day - I destroy my iphone by leaving it on top of my car, no phone, no SIM and need to get it fixed NOW. I call JB Hifi after being told by my carrier I need a replacement SIM adn stumble out my situation - the manage Lillee (sic) says come in as he can help. So I arrive and 15 min later new phone, new SIM card and I am ready to go - they even showed me to a shop that has free wifi.
Great service and kindness at a really low place.thanks guys.

My experience at JB HiFi store was nothing short of extraordinary today. I entered the store still unsure about the device I wanted to buy with lots of questions and hesitations in my mind as well as a limited budget. Ethan was very kind, patient and professional. He listened to all my questions carefully and took the time to offer me various suggestions with a friendly smile. He made me feel like a valued customer throughout our long conversation and made the store a welcoming place to shop at. He is also
very knowledgeable and respectful. I highly recommend the store as Ethan is the best customer service I ever known.

If you need a TV then Lachlan is your man. Knowledgeable, reasonable and turned a bad situation around for us. Recommend always buying in store and huge thanks to Darius as well. Great team and will be back again. Thank you!

The usual high quality service I have come to expect from Jbhifi stores around Australia. Found the product I wanted on the net, from memory used the pay and collect facility, and was in and out in no time.

Today, I ordered a game for my daughters Nintendo. I want to commend JB HiFi on the process. I paid $5 for delivery from the store. It took 40mins from payment to delivery. What a great service and fantastic business model. The gentleman who delivered it was polite, covid safe and it was all no fuss.

If you're looking for help from someone who really knows their stuff and is very friendly and helpful. Ask for Lachlan!
He spotted me wondering around looking for a tv and soundbar. He explained what all the terms and numbers mean in a way that I could understand. He was absolutely brilliant. Thank you Lachlan!

Great experience at this JB store, went in looking for a TV on late Friday afternoon. The team member had good knowledge and made some recommendations. Got a good deal and had delivery organised for the next day, couldn't be happier.

I needed to collect my online order today. Prior to visiting the store, I was already in correspondence with one of the female staff. She told me I would be given a gift card because I already paid for my online order in full. Therefore, they were unable to refund me the difference between the price I already paid for and the price when I collected it. I was assured that a note had been left in my order record. I was happy with her offer, even though on their website, it clearly states that “ You will always pay the lowest price. If the price drops for an item that you've ordered through Click & Collect you'll be offered a store credit, goods to the value of the difference, or a refund when you collect your goods in-store. ”

When I arrived at the store, I was asked to wait for a staff to assist with my collection. I waited for 5 mins before a male staff came to me and asked for my order number. I mentioned about the inclusion of gift card. He rudely responded with no. I said that I was told there should be a note about it. He asked for the female staff’s name. I honestly couldn’t remember it. I’m not even sure she told me. He then said without a name, he could not help me. I said I’d be happy to return the order then so I could reorder with the lower price. He immediately snapped as said “OK! ” I was stunned and asked “is this the kind of customer service you’re giving your customers? ” He left and said he would talk to his manager.

Guess what? He never returned. I waited for at least 15 mins before I was asked by another staff who finally handed me my order. It turned out the gift card was already attached to the box.

I am utterly disappointed and disgusted by how I was treated today. I’ve spent thousands of dollars at this store. Not that it matters. You should always treat others with respect. Especially your customers. No professionalism at all.

My recent order is my last order from this store, ever. Please pay more attention to your process & staff professionalism. I expect better from JB Hi-Fi.

Great as always. One of the largest tech shops in Australia with unbeatable prices and has quality hardware. 10/10 would recommend, unless for gaming, scorptec.com.au is better.

I've been to JB HiFi at MQ centretwice to buy a new printer today. I was looking at the printer area for more than 15mins to compare the functionality and price without any staff offer help.the store was not busy at that time!
end up I walked off the store as no one offering help.

I tried to come in to purchase some earphones and speakers for my new PC. Was welcomed well but when I needed to ask a question I waited for nearly 30 minutes before I just my choices down and walked out. One sales person ignored me after I addressed him directly to ask for help.
Good selection but the service was terrible. I only needed one question answered for a simple sale.

They have an okay sized record section. Unfortunately it's all just super mainstream artists. Such a shame they don't stock any Sydney artists and support the growth of local bands.

A CR gives me offer and the other very rudely tells me the first CR was wrong and there is no offer! I have been a loyal customer but that ends here!

Ravi @ Macquarie was fantastic! He was very friendly, patient and informative. Knows the products and helpful with the recommendations. We’ve been here before few times in the past, the guys on deck at that time were not helpful / poor product knowledge.
You need more people like Ravi at Macquarie store.
