Methodical with getting the wheel alignment spot on. I have been going to Jax Castle Hill for many years and very happy.

My car is far from anything special, but I rely on it a lot and there's only one place I trust whenever anything goes wrong or when it's time to service it. Such good value and follow-up service as part of platinum. Employees are polite, professional and helpful and kept me up to date with any issues, they email me when I'm due for tyre rotation and any specials, I can always book in on my preferred day, and if there's any issues, they phone to tell me. Good customer service here which is lacking in many other places

They have after looked after all of my needs presented to them for my car. Asked for a more rain oriented tire and got it, just had disks and pads done and was $450 cheaper than Toyota.
Justin is your man to talk to and he'll be honest and straight up on what's needed.

It took 2 hours & 30mins to fit new tyres on. They don’t bolt the wheels properly either. The old man fitting the tyres was really grumpy and started swearing. My mechanic said my wheels were gonna fly off i went 100km/h. When consulted with the Store owner Danny was too busy in the office having a toss 5 mins later he came out to speak. Shocker customer service. Avoid this place! Go next door to bob Jane cheaper and better service.

I provided my car model and details over the phone and was given a price of $980 for replacing all four new tires and including wheel alignment. After receiving the quote, the staff member made a reservation for me and said it's right under $1000 which is good price.
When i visited the shop and changed all my tires and planned to pay the quoted price, but upon arrival, I was charged over $1040 without any explanation. The staff member was dismissive and did not provide any explanation for the price hike. I went ahead and paid the amount, but I feel like this kind of business practice is fraudulent.

I don't know what it is about tyre shops. They are really not taught what service with a smile means.
I come in and feel that I am intruding on their peace and quiet and serving me is something they do when there is nothing else better to do.
Then I notice certain other people seem to get the "what can I do for you, sir". But I just get stared at and treated like an alien?
Maybe one day they may get? One hopes?

Did tyres with them 2 years ago for my old car. Having spoke to a friend who works as a mechanic, I am now coming here to speak my thoughts.

Overall - tyres were good and experience was decent so I'm leaving 3 stars overall. However they asked to do an allignment + front lower control arms. I found out later that Subaru issued out a TSB on the control arm piece saying that this was a non-issue even if there are cracks.

I also found out that unless my car was not going straight on highways (as a good indication), there shouldn't be any issues really. I never had any problems with this but talking to the rep at Jax at the time, they indicated it was 'life endangering' and will need to be replaced immediately.

Perhaps there was a problem - perhaps not. But doesn't matter as the sales pitch was put forward first instead of working with the customer and providing and discussing options. Walked away with a $900 bill at the end of the day which no one wants.

The takeaway? DO RESEARCH FIRST. Say no and go do some research to see if there are any issues. I now diagnosis my issues myself before deciding for a mechanic or a tyre dealership to do further work. There is so much content out there especially by other motor enthusiasts on forums who give photo / video recommedations on doing your own diagnosis before you take up jobs. Heck many of these even own their own shops and are giving advice.

Returned again to JAX Tyres & Auto at Castle Hill, hard to beat the friendly service and competitive pricing.

Another big thanks to Danny and his team at Jax Castle Hill. I have been restoring my 61 Alpine for some time now. Danny is my go to man for tyres and steering. The business is top notch, and all cars, including the old ones are treated with care. Danny has helped getting this Alpine to where it is today and I am grateful. Thanks again, Jax Castle Hill continues to be agreat business and I highly recommend them.

Spoke to Danny on the phone during the week and had an slightly unusual request for some 13" tyres for a 61 Alpine. Several other places (local) were not willing to source the tyres but Danny made sure the tyres were available within a day and had them ready for the Saturday. My Alpine wasn't very happy when it arrived and wasn't idling well. The staff were great with my car and did a great job with tyres, balance and an alignment. Hey couldn't be happier with the service and the price. Jax Castle Hill highly recommended.

Excellent experience with great customer service and product knowledge. They were able to answer all my questions about the tires I was looking at with more detail that I was ever expecting. They also made several other suggestions and in the end I settled on one of their recommendations.

Super helpful and friendly. One of my tyres went flat on Sunday came here in the morning and they did it without a booking. Big help from them and quickly got my tyre changed as they needed to order a new tyre. Definitely recommend it! Thanks
