Nari's knife sharpening training was excellent. The course is very well organised. Informative theoretical issues were presented in a very professional manner, followed by hands-on sharpening. I recommend this course to people wishing to learn about sharpening on stones.

Read about the high viz double sided tape measure in Oz Woodsmith mag - bought one and loved it - so much better to use than standard tape. Showed a mate and he wanted one - so bought it and he loves it too - such a help when you get old and vision struggling!

I just received my book " Japanese Wooden Boatbuilding" I had ordered.
The book came really well packaged and in quick time.
What a truly beautiful book!
It is concise and the colour plates are exceptional.
This is not just a coffee table book but with the instructional text it would be possible, with care and patience, to actually build one.
I recommend this book to anyone who likes fine Japanese carpentry.
As an addition to my previous post, I ordered a marking knife and a marking gauge from these guys and arrived within a day!
