James Oates Reserve reviews
21 You will find beautiful scenery during the coastal walk from Kiama to Minnamurra.
The sky, river, sea, and trees all come together, allowing you to capture wonderful photos for sure.
If you can bring a boat or kayak, you can probably hop into the sea or river and have an enjoyable time.
Found by accident. It would be a great swimming, paddle boarding, canoeing or kayaking spot. Some birdlike too.
This is a quiet place to sit and reflect.it is full of nature to nurture ur soul.swimming kayaking surfing paddling or walking its got it all.a must see.
The river was crystal clear water with beautiful sand.one side of the boat ramp has rocks and the other side has a beautiful grassed area to put a blanket and have a picnic. The reserve behind had great bbq facilities and room for the kids to play.
Go to place for paddle boarding in the Illawarra. Family friendly, no stong currents easy to walk over to the other side during low tide
Beautiful place with boat ramp and fish cleaning table including running water.
Public toilets are available.
Big playground for kids and a scenic walk up the hill with a good view and down to the next beach.
Good fishing there too.
Such a nice spot to kick back and throw out a line! Very relaxing if you need some time out of Wollongong! Only 25mins south of Wollongong great for families or a picnic.
Right at the Minamurra River mouth, good spot, lots of paddle boarders and other small boats etc. Still a good swim spot, but rock filled waters, wear aqua shoes!
Just another beautiful view of our south coast of NSW with your loved ones and furry loved ones
The path or the track, both are easy and dog friendly apparently using the AllTrails app.so me and my dogs had a fantastic time
Amazing place to go kayaking, the river is calm and you can stop near river bank and walk through to the beach. How great is that!
Stunning place where great facilities make enjoying superb nature spot an unforgettable experience
It would be nice if there were more covered picnic areas. Other than that, it is a good place to visit. The park has on-site toilets and a short walk to the water.
Perfect for snorkelling, paddling with a baby and finding ocean animal in the crystal clear water.
Make sure you're prepared to walk to the middle to the sand banks. But you won't regret it!
Very nice place to visit with family and kids. Kids will love it. Good place for boating and floaty.
Perfect spot for a family picnic. It has park, public toilet and shallow water area where kids can play.
Good facilities with boat ramp for kayaks and plenty of parking as well as christal clear waters
The beach is very rough full of oysters shells. Be careful don’t get scratched. Must wear shoes to go into water. During low tide you can walk to the middle sand land. A lot people kayaking there. Not recommended for swimming.
Nice beach with sea back waters, shallow and clean water, ideal for paddle boarding and swimming.
