Amazing! Sam helped us when he wasn’t even on shift & Gus checked us out, was so friendly & knowledgeable.
Terrible communication about delivery times. They never once contacted me about the delivery of an expensive $3.5k couch and I had to call to follow up each time and the customer service representatives gave me a different answer each time. Couch came with loose threads and a cut in the fabric, however because I only noticed this after the 3rd day of ownership, they said it wasn't covered under warranty?
Everyone, save your money and spend it on a better company and better quality products. I never make negative reviews but I feel compelled to for James Lane.

The furniture range was beautiful and the price was reasonable. The customer service and delivery were excellent. They were extremely helpful and accommodating at the showroom. Overall an enjoyable experience. Would recommend and looking forward to buying from them again:)
Amazing service and great furniture!
Together with the team, Sam gave us excellent service. We asked for his honest opinion on the items we picked and so he did - the final setting turned out great. Our delivery also was scheduled to be a month away (they were honest about it). They said they will try their best. And when some items turned up earlier, they actually called us to offer earlier delivery date! (which in our personal experience never happened m with any other store) We went back for more items to complete our living room. We also got the items luckily on sale so even great on the price! Upon delivery though, there were missing screws.they said they will get back to us in few days, and true to their word, got us the missing screws. They offered to post it, but we ended up just picking them up. The entire process despite mishaps were very smooth with them, they are honest and have integrity with what they say or promise. They are highly recommended! ️

Bought our lounge from castle hill store, Sam was fantastic and was told our lounge would arrive in three turned up after a week! Unbelievably comfy - called Haven would recommend

A great example of how to turn a one star revue into a five star review. After wasting an afternoon in store, being quoted a price in writing and then having the store tell us they made a mistake when we accepted the price within half an hour of receiving it and wanting to charge $300 more we left dissapointed and angry.
Fast forward two days and an outstanding Area Manager called us personally to profusely apologize and offer to honor the original offer. Retail basics? Perhaps But still very hard to find and totally unexpected. Well done James Lane brilliant recovery.credit to where credit is due!
Was in store and bought a new lounge on 30 Sep 20, we were served by the most polite and helpful salesperson that I have come across since customer service died in 1999. Larry was his name and this wasn’t even his normal store, he commutes. Between him, the other floor staff and the area manager that were there, we were able to get the deal done, it was the best experience I’ve ever had while buying.anything to be honest. Good money very well spent. Oh and the lounge is amazing.

I bought a mattress from James Lane Castle Hill in July 2020. After 2 days we realised it is not as we expected it to be. I contacted George from the store and explained my situation. I want to call out that he went all the way out to assist with the swap or refund for my mattress. I understand it is difficult to return mattresses in Covid times as it's a total loss to the company.
Personally, I want to thank George and the store for their support and professionalism. Surely will go back to buy other stuff
On May 17th my brother and I came to purchase a couch we had been looking at for a week or so. The process in store was great, our worker was helpful and friendly and she matched it to the price we originally had photographed as the price had gone up. We were told the couch would arrive June 8th and we would receive a text the day before to confirm delivery. It was already a long waiting period but we understand that this current time has been difficult. June 7th comes around and not a word of confirmation so I had to call up and apparently June 8th was never a date for delivery and it was actually June 25th (it wasn't). I was absolutely assured it would come the 25th to my relief after the first lack of communication. Waited another 2 weeks patiently, still not a word on the 24th when our delivery should have been confirmed and so again I have to be the one to call up. Once again, another issue as I expected and apparently the couch was meant to come the 7th of July and there was no note to say it would come the 25th. I was shocked that I had continued to be miscommunicated to about delivery and that as the customer I was doing their job for them by checking up on actually getting my product that I paid for. I spent hours on the day of the 24th waiting for a resolution and finally the couch was going to be delivered on the 26th of June but with no compensation despite the continuous deceiving communication I was receiving. Despite enjoying the couch, it does not make up for the service abilities and this review will remain 1 star. All I can say is that I will never purchase at James Lane again after the continuous issues and absolute lack of communication over anything. I hope they improve their service practices and learn to communicate with their customers spending thousands of dollars for furniture. Very close to complaining to the ACC as I felt like the entire time I was being lied to and deceived in which they wasted my time and my family's time on multiple occasions for when we took off work for a couch that was never even planning to arrive.
Great customer service when buying beds from the Castle Hill store and then even better service when one bed rail broke just outside warranty. Fast response and fast resolution.
