What a stunning spot. Now and again I put a place in for a proposal lol
Australia is such a beautiful country. It's a shame it's not promoted more.
This is a free spot with a few picnic tables. The road up is a little steep but worth it.
Beautiful view.
You can see south coast towns like Kiama, Port Kembla and Shellharbour amongst others from the viewing platform.
What an amazing view in such a quiet place. If you’re up this way, stop in and have a look.
Jamberoo Mountain Road from Jamberoo closed, have to drive a long loop from the other side
Cracking view, if you are travelling Jamberoo Pass it is worth the stop, it’s about 50m off the main road.
Has tables here to enjoy some lunch but can get cold in winter so bring the jackets!
Wow. Amazing view. The lookout is a little hidden. Signage comes up quickly and far too close the the entrance. Good information available.
The view is spectacular. The driveway entrance is extremely dangerous if 2 cars enter/leave at the same time. Warnings ahead urgently needed.
Amazing view on a clear day, look out clearly signposted and worth a stop at on your way up to the other parts of the forest!
Beautiful lookout on a clear day. Ample parking, easy access and signage indicating what’s visible from the lookout.
Lovely lookout.with excellent view of illawara lake, Port Kembla and nearby mountains.good clean picnic bench as well
A little break here would do perfectly fine, regardless of the lack of toilets, tables, etc. Instead of driving through Macquarie Pass, maybe go through this highway, towards Jamberoo and heading north towards Shellharbour and Wollongong. Honestly, this route is a little bit more scenic than Macquarie Pass. This place rocks, it's very detailed and it stands out from the rest of the other lookouts.
Located a few kms West of Jamboree. Provides a spectacular view of the coast up to lake Illawarra Shellharbour and Port Kembla
A good view of the whole area, way up high. The drive is a little stressing, with tight switchbacks, narrow lanes and blind corners, but worth it for the view
Beautiful views to the coast, and some rock warblers down in the trees. I never get tired of all the beautiful lookouts
For a person scared of heights I found the platform much less scary than other places I've viewed from. Fantastic views, and in a clear day would be even better
Enjoy Spectacular views, when its clear day we can see the best views from the mountain to the sea so beautiful. And the place is accessible for wheelchair.
Jamberoo pass is my all time favourite drive. Always stop for a view of home (Kiama). Signage could be a little better tho, blink and you miss it.
Beautiful views to the not to distant Coast.
Small picnic area with one table and setting area, minimal parking and no toilets
On our way to Illawarra treetop walk, we stopped for this awesome lookout and took some nice pictures.
