Jamaica Blue Jesmond

Same as previous review- Old guy with white hair is rude and arrogant. No wonder the place has such a bad rating. Food is average at best and overpriced.

One of the coffee shops in Jesmond Central. It is located in the centre area of the mall. It is cozy enough to take a break and have a cup of coffee or meal.

I had coffees and cake with friends at Jamaica Blue today and was reimbursed for the coffee in order to provide an honest review. The coffees were great and they had all options available (i.e. Oar Milk). The coffee was smooth and not bitter at all. The cake was fresh and delicious too. The service was very welcoming and friendly and it was easy to get a table. For delicious smooth coffee, this is a great cafe.

Lois was lovely and attentive. Egg and bacon pastry fresh and no fat on bacon. Coffee was tasty and oat milk was quite OK.

35 minutes wait for a toasted sandwich which had filling falling out.not what I expect for a $12.90 charge

Absolutely stunning food and beautiful staff. Very friendly and totally lgbtqia+ safe space. The new healthy breakfast oat bowl is to die for. Dont go anywhere else.

She is the most lovely person I have ever met, she's so sweet, kind, and made my day brighter with how nice she is. Every time I have come to any Jamaica Blue the staff, service and food has always been lovely.

Food was good. Hot Drinks were hot. Staff are helpful and friendly. Worth going to. I'll be back there sometime again.

By far and away the best cafe in the centre. Service is fast and pleasant, food fresh and clean.

Obviously dont care about social distancing, because we went there to get a coffee, and all their tables are full of customers. I thought new laws came into effect yesterday about spacing of 4 square meters between people?

Went to get a coffee and possibly something to eat from their good menu and was dismayed to see a large table of patrons sitting close together having gathered up all the seating from tables correctly spaced around the eat-in are.no staff did anything to change this situation.other patrons were queuing correctly for take-away but the sit down area was a nightmare.won't be going back until they get this under control.

I had a good experience here. I got the All day breakfast which was good value for money and quite delicious, plus I came around lunchtime and still got my food very quickly. Yet the service was mixed, with some staff friendly and inexperienced while others the inverse. Overall a good experience though they don't serve free water. The WiFi is speedy but nowhere to charge a phone or laptop.

The staff are very warm and welcoming. The food & coffee was incredibly delicious. Everything is very clean and people are definitely using social distancing & proper sanitising. I was shocked by the other reviews on here. Thank you very much Jamaica Blue for a wonderful experience.

Friendly staff, most of all love their coffee.did have one that didn't taste right.when i took it back they happily made me another one without any hesitation.tried other coffee shops but this ones my favourite
