The Barmen was extremely accommodating, doing everything in his power to make sure our experience was great!

Great pub in the middle of town. Great food, great staff, well maintained accommodation, great old pub atmosphere. Nothing else you could ask for, really. The owner Trevor has done a really good job with the place and is a great bloke too.
PS, the Guinness pie is like a warm hug for the soul. I'll definitely be coming back.

Stopped in for a pint of Guinness. Nicely laid out pub. Is similar in respects to true Irish pubs in Ireland. Guinness was good. Could see them setting up for some live music in the evening so seems to be a step back to the way pubs use to be.

Had lunch with my son and daughter in law 4th Aug 23. Was a huge improvement on previous owners! Food was delicious! Friendly staff and great service, highly recommend!

Great food, huge meals, good pricing, only reason I didn't give 5 stars is cause I was cold, turning the heaters on so the place was warm for lunch patrons would have been wonderful and made the time there a 5 star experience.

After re_emerging as an Irish pub left a lot to be desired. We had a cider from the tap which we always have and it was undrinkable. Weak as a very weak water. Food was again not the standard we were used to

A beautiful pub and a hidden gem.
Good food and great selection of beverages. The atmosphere was incredible from the friendly staff to the music. I seriously did not want to leave.

Such a fun vibe for late night drinks. There is always nice music and some cool people about. Never had a problem there with staff they have always been so lovely. Although the glass hole in the floor makes me think imma fall.
Honestly will never not recommend this place. The 3 owners are amazing. I've always had so much fun here

LOVE LOVE LOVE this place, great irish atmosphere, amazing irish and traditional pub food, they can pour a killer pint of guinness which I might add is on tap here

As a lover of Guinness, seeing this place given one of the only 9/10 reviews from the @guinnesofsydney I had to come and try it.
Believe me when I say, it’s amazing and well worth the trip.
At only $10.50 a pint, you can’t go wrong.
Not many places you get your beer poured by the owner and what a great bloke.
Loved that it was dog friendly also with a great selection of food.
Wish I was a local and definitely will be coming here every time I go through Bathurst.

Nice pub, friendly staff who let me beat the heat while the baby had a sleep. Cool with aircon and clean dinning and bar area. Great place! Worth a pop in between some shopping. Thanks again.

A pub like no other, we will be back regularly! The staff were very sociable and hospitable, and kept our group entertained and looked after. The Guinness pie was the best I’ve ever had. The pastry, filling and sides were delicious and fresh, and the others agreed!

My family and I have had many good meals over the years here. Since new ownership the food is terrible, slow service and the draft beer was flat. Giving it 1 stars is too much.

Sad to see what use to be a great pub with great food is now ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.
Slow staff with no enthusiasm, food was diabolical.

Very slow service especially for a place that didn’t have many people, as well as poorly presented food. Could get a bigger burger from maccas for less than what my mum paid for. Burger bun was burnt to a crisp as well as the beef patty. I had schnitzel, it wasn’t too bad. Although more crumbing then the actual chicken

Stayed in Bathurst the night before the Winter festival, and as we were looking at the men set up, spotted the pub, decided to have an Irish pub dinner. Can say the service and food were lacking. We didn't spot the menu as we came in, were not offered one, even as we mulled over and over the board specials, which was all we could see, ended up buying overpriced food we really didn't want. The food was ordinary, not worth the price but the waitresses were lovely.
