Ivanhoe Wines Cellar Door

Had an excellent cheese & wine tasting this morning. Superb quality, fantastic scenery and a brilliant host in Parker. Highly recommend a visit.

The most lovely winery we visited in the Hunter. Phil is was our server and he was wonderful!
The view is incredible the wines are TOO die for! A MUST visit while you’re in the Hunter.

My family and I had an incredible tasting experience at the cellar door thanks to Lewis. The entire team at Ivanhoe were caring as well as knowledgeable about all things wine. The view from the cellar door is spectacular and the wines themselves are delicious.

Lewis is a fantastic host! He and Mike took great care of us. The wines were excellent, it was hard to decide which take home (but we managed). The cheeseboard pairing was a great addition to our wine experience. The staff is knowledgeable, friendly and accommodating. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and would make a wonderful location for a special event. Overall, Ivanhoe is an outstanding stop to make during a Hunter Valley wine tour!

Great winery with beautiful garden and vinyard views, host is very friendly. We came at 4h30 and they explained to us that the seating tasting is usually 45 mins, however they can do a wick tasting on the counter for less than 30 mins. We went for it and had very nice friendly experience and they even offered us the tasting at the end. We can ealk around in the nice garden and backyard after, very nice view. Highly recomended to comr and have a tasting with the view.

We recently had a trip to the Hunter Valley and met Mr Ivanhoe, AKA Lewis, doing a tasting at the Voco, which prompted us to visit the Ivanhoe cellar door for the masterclass. We had a great experience, and our host Lewis was very welcoming and knowledgeable about the wine they produce and the history of his family’s winery.
A great experience made very enjoyable by the fantastic view across the lake, Lewis our friendly and engaging host and the great wines. We left as members having joined the Round Table. Well worth a visit. Thoroughly enjoyed it, thank you Mr Ivanhoe

We popped into Ivanhoe Wines on the recommendation of the owner of a local cafe, and we were so happy we did! The entire experience- from start to finish - was fabulous (and a complete contrast to an earlier tasting experience at a different winery). The setting is stunning and Kaylah did a great job of making us feel welcome, understanding our likes and dislikes, and suggesting wines to try. We ended up with some Shiraz pressings and verdelho. Well worth a visit and thoroughly recommended.

We had a delightful verandah tasting on easter sunday, with the vignerons son Lewis looking after us. The view, the brilliant whites and reds (tasted in sight of actual plantings) and Lewis's easygoing refined knowledge, humour and service skills made the afternoon a rare treat. A privilege, thank you!

Recently went on wine tasting and was totally impressed. We didn’t have a booking, requested for walk in appointment and they were kind enough to accommodate us.
Firstly the staff who engaged us during the time there was amazing. She was so patient and super informative session it was.
Then the amenities, be it toilets and overall cellar was maintained so well. Parking was easy too
Totally in love with the vineyard views.
And finally the wine we tasted all were good especially with the cheese plate, perfect combo.
Overall was a great experience, highly recommended.

The best cellar door experience in the Hunter Valley and seriously delicious wines. The staff really know their stuff and the service is top-notch. A must-do on anyone's Hunter Valley itinerary.

My wife and I took our daughter and her fiance for a members wine tasting experience at Ivanhoe last Sunday. We sat on the deck overlooking the vineyards and had the absolute pleasure of being looked after by Tilly. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and her professionalism and the service she provided made this experience a very memorable one. This is definitely a must visit winery when in The hunter Valley. The views are amazing and the wines are some of the best you'll experience! Highly recommended. Thanks very much Tilly, we look forward to our next wine tasting experience.

Had a fantastic wine tasting experience at Ivanhoe Wines. Jack was extremely knowledgeable about the wines and winemakers process, and incredibly patient with my 8 year old twin nephews who had a LOT of questions (about anything and everything, as young and inquisitive kids tend to have). The scenery was lush, and the overall experience very relaxing. Highly recommend!

Wines okay. Service intrusive with rules. Had to leave our 5 th member in the car for service. As only 4 allowed for tasting. Don’t know why they don’t allow bookings of 5?
As a frequent eater of Aldi cheese. There wasn’t much difference, tasted the same. Not that I have anything against Aldi cheese.

Wonderful experience. Helen our host was so knowledgeable and friendly. The wines are fantastic and the view is just beautiful. Definitely needs to be on anyones list of places to visit in the Hunter. Make sure you sign up as a member. Such great value.

Some nice drops of Wine and a truly tranquil view makes Ivanhoe a must when we're visiting the Hunter Valley.
The Staffs knowledge of the area and of their Wine made the Wine Tasting a perfect way to end our stay.

Ivanhoe wines is a fantastic venue with very welcoming and enthusiastic stwff. Tilly was our host for our 10am tasting, and was very knowledgeable and friendly. The views from their deck are some of the best in the valley; it's nice to be able to see all the vineyards that you are tasting from. When we can to check out, Troy gave us a taste of some of their premium wines to compare, which were excellent so we picked up a few of those as well. Will be back, thanks guys:)
