I had a horrible experience at Emerald Airport. I have composite shoes and sections at my ankles showed up on the screen and I said, it is my reflectors on the pants. This was strongly dismissed by security staff ISS and lady checking me. I have been wearing these shows for a year now and had not been asked to take them off before on any other occasion at Emerald nor on any other national Airport. I took them off and went through again and the same sections on the screen came on (at my ankles) due to the reflectors. I pointed this out to security staff and they came up with all sorts of excuses and insisted it was still my shoes (which does not make sense). And another gentlemen behind me got through the screens with his composite shoes on and he did not raise the alarm as he had no reflectors on his jeans. I asked for the security lady's name and she wouldn't give it to me and directed me to her supervisor. The supervisor started "You have been rude to my staff" and I said calmly, no I have only asked for her name. "Why do you need her name" and I said" you know exactly why". She then threatened me and says, "Another word and you are not flying" followed by "Don't you dare" several times.
I have explained everything to the Airport Manager Solomon, who half hearted gave me an apology for this bullying behaviour, but insisted, that I still have to take my shoes off, even if the problem was with the reflectors, completely blaming the machine, rather than blaming appalling bullying human behaviour from ISS security staff. This is not acceptable. Staff's name was Brittany and Tony (supervisor).
This company is a disaster.
Applied for a job gave an inteview did an induction for 3 hours but never got a call back for the work
They didnt even pay for an indcution and when i mailed them they just ignore it or what but no replies at all.i cant even rate 0 stars.
Very bad service very bad management i worked very hard but no one see my work everyone is very rude dont work this company.

I've had 10 cleaning managers in 3 years inside the South Sydney Govt contact worth an estimated $300 million p.a. Longest serving manager stayed a massive 6 months.
When the employee and manager turnover rate is so high, you would think the company would notice and resolve the problem.
-other issues with this organisation
* many cleaners working before 6am or past 6pm.not getting their shift allowance. (15% loading)
* expectations that cleaners will work for free if another cleaner is sick
* I knew of 1 covid cleaner who wasnt paid for 1 month after starting the job.
* Some schools will get COVID cleaners and some will not.
My Daughter worked for this company as a school cleaner in Sydney, absolutely atrocious behaviour from the managers and supervisors (Will not name them) No respect what so ever always talking in their own language (Nepalese), putting my daughter down saying how she was always horrible at her job even though the school she was cleaning for always had nothing but good things to say about her. Swearing in Nepalese near my daughter. (Trust me we know what you are saying as we have visited the country many times, although people over there do not act this way). I think higher management/head office really need to give proper attention to these people as this is absolutely unprofessional. The pay is very questionable, I really think the management play games, a lot of times my daughter called up complaining about her pay as she was not paid correctly a number of times and nothing was rectified. Very disappointed.

The results I have received from all workplaces management teams and their staff is just lots of appreciation and good positive feed back and so it is.
Very bad company to work for, managers will steal your hours worked then claim you didn’t even work them hours, DO NOT WORK FOR THIS COMPANY
Poor communication, payroll takes in excess of 3 working days to respond to a simple email request. Even when trying to call no one is ever available regardless of time of day. Some staff voicemail boxes are even "FULL" which highlights the lack of answering phones. Also the fact that they likely don't even listen to the voicemails which are left. No call back.
Well, I work in one of the school in ashfield which is under this company cleaning. Plz dont work with this company. Most of the area manager ate so irresponsible and they dont care their staff
They do not treat their staff with respect and the managers are not professional. They expected me to travel 1 hour to work a 2 hour shift and ended up firing me because I could not commit to that shift.
After 4 years of employment with ISS as a cleaner at a Canberra Mentalhealth unit I was removed from my full time position and forced into a different full time position at a different location I didn’t want or trained for.
I absolutely loved my original job and performed my role with a passion.
Being treated like this after 4 years of employment is disgusting.

Worked at Bulahdelah Central School as Cleaner.
They were short staffed when they started so i got the job right away. I filled in for people that were away sick and my usual 2 hours in the morning. I worked extra free time to finish jobs that needed to do. I worked hard and considered myself a valued worker. I was there for a few months.
They hired 2 new staff to help out. They then cut my 2 hours a day to 0 (and hours from current workers) to the new 2 new staff, but keep me on 'casual' with no hours instead of firing me.
I received 0 training which they are required to do. They do not trust their staff, unprofessional, won't pay you correctly, and will throw you under the bus at a moments notice.
If you work here, my advise is to not listen to the supervisors, only work the hours you're paid for, even if your job is not finished. Don't do any extra work they ask you to, and only perform a very average job.
Absolutely disgusting Company.
Horrible horrible horrible. I applied for a job and the woman on the phone said she was gonna call me back in 5 minutes and she never did, tried to call her again and she hung up. Absolutely unprofessional. Dont waste peoples time
