Ironstone Estate Lovedale Hunter Valley

Excellent house for a group holiday. The house has everything you need, a beautiful outlook and is in a great location. Awesome service from Luke when we left an item behind. Highly recommend.

Large houses can each accommodate 5-6 couples or families with children. My extended family with 5 adults and 8 children enjoyed the weekend, with a fenced pool, trampoline, Netflix, and lots of room to run around. Large patio with comfortable furniture and perfect breezes with full view of the kids in the pool to relax and drink Ironstone wine (bought a case to take home). Perfect family holiday!

Gorgeous property and the accommodation is perfect. Each bedroom has its own en-suite, as well as a massive living/entertainment area, and a well equipped kitchen. There is another entertainment area outside with a pizza oven, bbq, and a pool. Highly recommend Ironstone Estate for your next getaway, especially a family reunion!

Fantastic location, nice and quiet area with a pool, barbecue and ample indoor space with a great bathroom. There was even cornhole!
Also left something there and the owner was super helpful getting it back to me.

This is the perfect place for a number of couples to hang out for a wine sampling get away or a wedding. Every room has an ensuite so someone can be showering and doing their hair, while the other half can be enjoying the huge lounge area or pool.

It really is an awesome place to balance the communal socialising with the individual room privacy.

2nd stay in The Lodge. Had a great weekend. Fantastic for big groups. Made use of the pizza oven.

The Homestead was a perfect spot for 3 families with great facilities. The layout and separate living areas make it easy to get some peace and quiet or to be part of the action, whether that be backyard cricket, swimming in the pool or sitting around the fire pit. Close to everything, but far enough to feel the serenity and to gaze at the stars while drinking some local reds by the fire pit. I look forward to going back!

We had a lovely 3 night stay here. The 6 bedroom house is so well set out. Each bedroom has it's own ensuite bathroom so our group of 11 were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, the dining table huge and the lounge area very roomy was lots of lounge seating. It was particularly nice sitting by the fireplace with a glass of newly purchased Hunter Valley red. We cooked a BBQ on our 2nd night stay and enjoyed watching the sun go down with rows of grape vines as the back drop. On the Sunday morning as we cooked a BBQ breakfast we saw the Hot Air balloons flying past. For a bigger group this accommodation is perfect.

Having stayed at the Ironstone Estate 3 times over the last 2 years. I find this place amazing to relax and recharge, access to pool, plenty of grass, walk through the vines.

It's a stones throw away from the heart of the hunter, great weekend away for Wine tours and great spot to stay for the Lovedale Long Lunch weekend. Each of the properties we have stayed in have 5 big bedrooms and plenty of indoor and outdoor space and can house a big family or work group for a retreat. They keep making improvements and the property is getting better with each visit. Air Hockey Table, Trampoline, Kids Play Swings, Pool Table, Spa.

We now have kids and our friends have kids and they love the space to run around and explore and even has the ability for you to bring your pets for an all inclusive family get away. Your Kids and Pets wont regret it giving them plenty of space to stretch their legs and have a run around.

The Kids had a ball of fun and had the ability to use the Trampoline, Swings and Slip and Slide which tired them out.

Have stayed here a few times now, Beautiful and quiet place perfect for our large family to get together for a weekend away. So close to wineries and beautiful restaurants

Very large homestead with 3 bathrooms, five bedrooms and two separate lounge areas. For winter you have a stovepipe fireplace. For summer you have a pool. Moderately priced and would suit large family groups. One complaint, the floors were dirty as we had four small children three walking and one crawling. As children do they were barefooted and their little feet needing constant cleaning.

Great location for wine tours. Spacious 6 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. Great group areas, indoors and outdoors. Rain hail or shine this place is set to entertain.
