Ironbark Woodfired Pizza Restaurant

Ordered spicy sausage and mushroom pizza. It came out and the cheese wasn’t even melted. Not be a hint of spice. Worst pizza I think I’ve ever had.

My meal was absolutely horrible! I ordered the seafood pasta I had 6 mussels 3 were not opened & the other seafood was minimalI couldn’t eat the pasta is was under cooked & I reported this to i understood was the owner he said I’ll tell the chefno replacement of the meal or even garlic breadleft there very hungry never going back

I recently dined at Ironbark Manly with my family and we loved our experience there. The service was friendly and efficient, and the food was delicious.

The eye fillet steak, served with delicious green pepper sauce, mushrooms and roast potatoes was cooked to perfection and was absolutely to die for! This is a definite must order dish.

My other favourite dish was the sautéed black mussels with garlic, chilli and parsley served with wood fired crust.

What we ordered included:
Garlic Mozzarella Crust With Rosemary & Parsley
Calamari & Gamberi Fritti
Zuppa Di Cozze
Eye Fillet
Rigatoni Frutta Di Mare, &
Meat Lover Pizza.

I’d be happy to reorder every single one of these dishes again.

I was also impressed with the romantically set table next to ours. A customer had rung up and requested a romantic table setting and Ironbark sure delivered this. (Check out my photo of it below). We left before they arrived but I'm hoping it resulted in a successful proposal.

End of soccer season gathering and manager opened up early for us, took individual orders and food was fresh and delicious. The manager, staff and food were first class - highly recommended.

Amazing pizza starts with the dough and these guys know how to ferment to a good level of sourness. Perfect leopard spot crust 5 out of 5 we will be back!

The outside area was walled in with awnings that were mouldy and grubby with bird poop.
Staff were inattentive, meal took close on an hour to arrive, drinks took 30 minutes.
Toilets had no toilet paper.
Discovered today my bill was incomplete!
I kept expecting Gordon Ramsey to arrive and start swearing, it was that bad.
At least the food actually tasted good once it arrived.

Ordered off Uber eats and requested a fork because I’m not at home. Not only was the food amazing, the bread was a massive portion but best of all they sent me a metal fork to make sure I could eat.

Fabulous food, friendly staff and great atmosphere.visited last time we were back to Sydney.worth a visit! Can't wait to get back.

The pizzas are very flavoursome and they have some good unusual choices. We dined in shortly after lockdown ended and the service was pretty slow - best part of an hour before we were eating. Have eaten there plenty of times before though and. It experienced that so hopefully it's just temporary whilst getting back up & running.

Solid pizza and on time. Fair price. The Marg was the best I've had in a long time. Solid. We had take out.

The best place in Sydney. Pizzas and service 10star. I have had many trips to Sydney and it’s the first place i take all my business partners.
Excellent food and love the menu. It’s a golden Italian Heath treat highly recommend it to anyone travelling through manly!

Great pizza and pasta! Ordered them for delivery, mexicana and ironbark, the tortilla chips were still crispy when they arrived. Delicious boscaiola and pesto chicken pasta as well. Will definitely order again for movie night.

Great place to eat with the family or with friends. Atmosphere is relaxed and the staff are friendly, efficient and hospitable. They know what they’re doing and are able to make recommendations if you are not sure what to choose from the brilliant menu. The food is always fantastic, good selection of wines and wonderful dessert and no matter what I order, I am always delighted with my meal. You can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. I would highly recommend!

There was a mix up with our order via Menulog (or that was the story anyway), as the order was supposed to arrive at a certain time but didn’t. When the order didn’t arrive, I called to check on it and the man who answered was short tempered and rude. He said the order was on its way. 15 minutes later the app said the pizza had arrived when in fact it hadn’t, so I called again concerned that it may have gotten lost or left somewhere abnormal. Then he told me a different story about how they never deliver before 6pm, which wasn’t stated in the first call, so it felt a bit like I was getting the run around. This time he said the order had left 7 minutes prior to this call and only wanted to blame menulog but not actually give a straight answer about where our pizza was. Called a third time when it didn’t arrive after another 10 minutes (we live about 100 meters away from them). A lovely girl answered and was apologetic but we still didn’t have our pizza. Fast forward to 45 minutes after the original delivery scheduled time, and it finally arrived. However, the pizza was NOT worth the wait. It was cool and soggy wet. The presentation was piss poor and if I worked at Ironbark, I would be incredibly embarrassed by the product that was sent out and delivered. This was our first time trying the restaurant, and it will absolutely be our last.

Our extended family had a range of takeaway Ironbark pizzas recently. The quality of all of the pizzas was excellent. The pizzas were hot, the toppings fresh and the bases was amazing! We will be returning again soon.

Warning to people that have been here in the past year and loved the food. Today I had a very slow experience with ironbark. We arrived at 5 when it opened and ordered straight away. Waited 20 minutes for ice-cream and only got half a scoop and it cost $4. After a long wait for chicken pasta it finally came without any chicken. Another wait. Pizza and meatballs were good but took a long time to be put on the table. From a regular customer to a disappointed customer my family and I will not be attending this restaurant anymore. I hope the restaurant learns from their mistakes and the same thing doesn’t happen to you

Service was good and the venue is nice even if there's the occasional hint of traffic in the background.
