Loved the scenery and overall feel of the winery and the staff and service were good. The wines were good but not the best we had in the Hunter.

This was our first stop on the winery tour and Gav was amazing. He was so knowledgeable, engaging, and answered all our questions. He made the whole experience amazing and the standard was set high for the rest of the day!

Had a good wine tasting experience. Service was a bit slow that day but understandable because of the weekend crowd. They were very accomodating of us even though we were a bit late for our reservation.

Visited here as part of a Hunter valley winery tour. This was my favourite winery. Loved the verdelho semillon!

This is a lovely Tuscan style setting for wine tasting. We sat outdoors and enjoyed the outlook as much as the wines. The staff were very friendly and helpful with information about the wines. We enjoyed quite a few of the wines and left with a box of 6.

This place is beautiful! Customer service was excellent and Cathy was wonderful to us with great product knowledge.

One of my favourite places to visit in the Hunter. It's gorgeous ambience, helpful staff and unique wine blends makes it all a pleasant experience. Special shout out to staff member, Jane, who was incredibly accommodating when we arrived sans booking and bus tours were pouring in. We walked out with a number of bottles and a 2 new fans of Iron Estate. See you next time I'm in the Hunter.

Be careful of this lot. We visited a while ago and provided our details for payment and a wine delivery. A few months later we were billed again for wine we didn't order. When I asked what happened I was told "you are receiving emails from us with special offers THAT YOU MUST OPT OUT OF or else we will charge you". What a scam. If you think this is "professional" you've just lost a customer for life.

Nice outdoor seating and Italian country side vibes. Staff was friendly and explained the tasting notes and pairing for each wine. Unpretentious and nice place for wine tasting. Wines tasted okay

We had the most fantastic tasting experience ever here with Jade. All staff are so friendly, welcoming and knowledgeable.

The place itself is so beautiful! Our tasting session was guided by CC and she was very friendly and knowledgeable.

Escaped to Pokolbin, well known as the Hunter Valley as our close neighbor. Spent a short break through the long weekend and embedded in the varieties of wines. A beautiful family-run winery with a spectacular greenery, Gavin and his team made our tasting event an absolutely unique one. Highly recommended as passionate great wine producers and my family will look forward to visit again soon.

Gab was a great host, showed us their full repertoire in quick time but we never felt hurried. Gorgeous setting. Only 4 stars as we couldn't quite find the wine we thought would suit our tastes.

Mandy is such a lovely and knowledgeable staff member. Not only were all of the wines delicious to taste, but Mandy served the tasting at an easy pace that made our time at Iron Gate nothing but delightful. Of all the wineries we visited during our weekend at the hunter, this remains our favourite due to the unrivalled quality of the wine and service.

Jade is an excellent sommelier.
She took us through a wine tasting and was very passionate and informative.
Wines were excellent and the property is very nice.

Amazing location with pristine cellar door and stunning vineyard views. Wines were top notch, extremely high quality and made even more enjoyable through the experience provided by both Jade and the young man Keelan. Both very knowledgable, passionate, enthusiastic, warm and welcoming. Will definitely be back! Thanks team.
