Inverell Tourist Information Centre reviews
26Very helpful staff in a lovely building. Good parking for vehicles towing vans. Great gift shop, & visitors should go into the lapidary gift shop adjacent too. All locally produced gems & jewellery.
This hotel has been fully renovated, offering good food. I had a chicken Parmigiana freshly made on sites artdec done well sports bar, beergarden, modern function rooms, would be the best pub in town and good selection of cold beer
Very helpful and informative. The staff is very keen to tell visitors about all the hidden and not so hidden attractions of the New England region.
Make sure to get a map of the local area. It is one of the best touring maps we ever found in Australia
Great information centre with extensive show of crystals and minerals. Local produce for sale including jewellery! Plenty of maps and brochure to satisfy your thirst of knowledge.
An excellent information centre - very clean and tidy - a huge array of interesting items for sale - plenty of information booklets/info sheets available - clean amenities / a great cafe (currently closed but have visited previously) and above all very friendly and informative staff - only too willing to help - highly recommend
Extremely clean and tidy, as are the toilets. A lot of interesting items for sale. Lovely staff, polite, and only too happy to help with your enquiries. The only let down would be that the cafe/restaurant next door to them is under new management and is closed until after the New Year, so no food or beverages until then. But, otherwise, it's a fantastic Tourist Information Centre.
Couldn't recommend this centre highly enough. Very friendly and helpful.
Thank you for a great experience
The lady when I busted was extremely helpful. Gave me a variety of ideas to spend my day at Inverell. She knew the town like the back of her hand!
After visiting many town info centres in our travels found this one the best. The gentleman working at 1pm today was the best yet. Full of knowledge and made you feel welcome not like many of the others.
It was a great place to stop. We wanted information about fossicking in the area, and not only did they have maps, but the friendly lady at the counter took us through where to go, what to look out for and where to park when we got there. It was very helpful.
What a great place to get helpful information
Lady that was on was very helpful and able to answer all our questions
Plenty of photos maps etc as well as interesting displays and souvenirs
Very knowledgeable and helpful staff.
Large display and sales areas. Can fill motorhome or caravan water tanks if you ask the staff about hidden filling point.
Great gem stone display which made the visit worthwhile on is own. The knowledgeable lady that assisted us did a great job at helping us with our fossicking experience.
These guys are fantastic. They know everything and more about the area. Friendly and happy to help. Souvenirs are available and you can hire fossicking equipment here. Worth a visit
Very helpful. The two ladies that worked on Tuesday morning were sooo very helpful in trying to see if we could travel to QLD.
Extremely friendly and helpful - Talia is a credit to this Centre.
She introduced us to Killarney Cottage in Gum Flat where we had 2 wonderful nights with our Hosts Anna and Rob!
Perfect!
Very friendly, helpful and enthusiatic attendant at the info desk. Lovely cafe, with great and affordable breakfast/lunch options beautiful outdoor/gardens area.
Staff were super helpful especially regarding national parks in the region, camping and bush walks.
A friendly clean and unexpected Cafè. The coffee was fine and the meal was good. I love this cabinet and it is for sale. It did not fit in the booth however.
