Joined a couple of years ago and couldn't be happier with the results I'm getting out of the tuition and exercise. Great fitness and self defense. The instructors are well versed and know what they are doing, and the programs suit young and old alike. Lots of people (from about 15 to 24 i guess) turn up each session and that makes for good variety in training partners at all levels. Highly recommend it for fitness.

From my personal experience, there's no better place to be! There just so much to learn and so less time to do it all, it's the most enjoyable time of my day every time I walk in the door. The instructors is fun to work with and are well experienced in their teaching, the atmosphere can be a mix of seriousness, relax and laughter all in one.

Everyone from instructor to students are all a friendly bunch, we joke, we discuss, we share stories, we all help each other to improve, stay healthy and arm with the abilities to defend ourselves from harm. And above all it's about connection and open up yourself to each other. We clear our mind when we begin our class, but the instructor do notice and try within their abilities to assist you both in Wing Chun and in life.

I want to personally thanks Si Heng Diego for his funny personality which help us relax and laugh out loud that help with our training, and also on his advice to help me solve my personal life problem which I really appreciated and graceful for his love and care.

Also to Instructor Si Heng Michael for his experiences and on point demonstration to us that age don't matter in Wing Chun. All you will need is the right mindset with the right guidance on the right technique, everyone no matter your sex, age or size you can master the art of Wing Chun as well.

And finally to Instructor Si Heng Steven who travel long way to join us every Tuesday to train with us, answer any questions we have and demonstrate to us the endless possibilities of Wing Chun. Being the most senior instructor within the branch I have tremendous respect for him, he's the person we all look up to as much that we have created a warm down exercise name "Instructor Steven Special"!

Thank you International Wing Chun Academy Liverpool Branch, it's the most enjoyable time of my day in every lesson. Thank you to the instructor, thank you to the fellow students. I'm really graceful and glad that I started training and will keep on training as long as I can. Love you all!

I started classes here about 4 years ago when I was being bullied and felt the need to learn how to protect myself. I have loved doing kung fu here. The instructors are so friendly and I consider them to be my friends. Thanks to them I have learned how to protect myself properly in a safe and fun environment. The instructors are very knowledgeable and helpful. I look forward to class every week. I have had a great experience here.

I started training here about 4 years ago, and the staff have been incredible and welcoming from the start. Not only do I feel more confident in my self defence, but I’ve met people I will consider friends for the rest of my life. It’s a really positive and uplifting environment, there’s been many times where I expressed that I couldn’t do something and Micheal and Steven have always told me I could and showed me how. Diego is incredible with the grade 1 & 2s, so patient and always going out of his way to help. My experience with these guys has been nothing short of amazing and I genuinely enjoy going to training every week. Also, HQ have always been extremely helpful and accommodating with financial matters when needed.

Instruction for kids is great was concerned that all the instructors at Liverpool would be classified as morbidly obese and possibly should check for type 2 diabetes change your diet boys (keto maybe). However fatness aside the instruction was kid friendly and professional just be warned though going for the cheaper weekly price of an annual subscription will cost you the full annual fee, even if you decide to cancel after 2 months. Once you sign up for 1 year and decide you can not commit after 2 months theirs no 2 month or 3 month cancellation fee you pay the total 1 year fee. Just advising other people don't go for the 1 year to save money if YOU CAN NOT COMMIT FOR 1YEAR choose a higher price and try for 3 months.

All the instructors are friendly and supportive. They will take the time to explain the techniques, concept and application of a movement. It's a fun and great place to train.

The Liverpool Academy is very uninviting Instructor Steven was friendly on the phone, but Instructor Michael was very rude and told me to leave. I was there to see how they train because I was thinking of joining. Instructor Michael treated me like I was trespassing. Martial Arts is for the people I felt as though I was not welcome Instructor Michael should find a new occupation he acted more like a bouncer. Very unprofessional. If only there was minus stars.
