35Awesome park! Clean facilities. Hubby has taken up mountain bike riding and this park has everything our family needs to enjoy the afternoon out
Good place for picnic n play park is awesome for kids. The walk down to the river is not very safe. Not ideal for young kids. Has great bike track n nature walk.
Major construction in park. Only real area is bike track and bush walking. All picnic and grass areas closed off
Playground is great, and new picnic areas are being built for family use
Toilets are also there.
The river is very nice. With an old weir, and some lovely rocks for sitting on, a very gentle walk down to the river.
Fairly quiet on weekdays
Its a very close to home for us and a hidden gem in the southwest. Its family friendly and I love trekking down to the creek to squat near the water for some peace & quite. You can also enjoy the park & playground above.
Excellent equipped park, nice playground for kids, limited bbq facilities, clean/ touch switch toilet.
There were open sharp slab nails.which could make a dangerous situation.
Went to use the MTB features. The features are very well made. However, given the available space, it can be bigger. Same with the playground, considering sizr of the reserve, the playground is really small.
Public toilet, bbq and sonlme seatings available to use.
Love going down the steps to the weir with the family, didn't like the suss cars parked near the childrens playground
My rating would be more 3 and a half stars. A nice shady park, a short walk to the weir. It has a nice short little bike track. It would be good to see some of the other bike/walking trails be developed a bit further.
We followed a unlabelled track, not knowing where it could lead to we come across some great areas to sit and relax. Along the track you will find small cave like crevices. Further down you will find a track leading to the waters edge where a small water fall/ rapid flows. Walk was Approx 3klm return. Not recommended for disability client or those unstable on their feet. Some downhill and uphill decent. Not recommended for beginner bike riders. However a designated bike track has just been built.
Nice layout. Good fun for the kids. The road leading to it is uneven. So don't take your lowered car there. There is still construction there. Lots of potential.
Wonderful walk while the river was flooded. The walkway could be improved upon so one needs to be careful.
Simple and short drive and great place to watch Georges River. Short trek for all level of fitness and best place to go with kids
Great little bush in park with good play equipment, lots of open space with natural shade and reasonably clean amenities.
Excellent place for picnic.
The toilet was really clean as it had working sensors.
There is a creek approximately 1-2km away. The path to creek is bumpy, rocky, hilly and it can get slippery. However the trekking definitely is worth it as the kids and even adults can play in the water which is having a decent flow.
So carry a mini swimming kit if you wish to get wet.
Okay untill i stepped in dog fecis right where we were sitting and eating! We moved to a different spot but found fecis there as well. People walking their dogs should have the decency to pick up after their pet and perhaps bins with lids should be provided. We always have doggy bags on hand when walking our dog. All dog owners should do the same! It is a picnic area so have some consideration!
First time here this evening. Decent children's playground with swings and small climbing structure. One automated public toilets and parking alongside the parkland. Table and chairs and a few picnic facilities with a large grass area for picnics. There wasn't any signage to guide to where the access to the river is which was confusing. If anyone could tell me where to go that would be great.
Nice decent sized park, barbecue area and restrooms available but isn't very clean, great walking trails to the river
Nice park with lots of play equipment for kids and an amazing automated toilet. The track to the river and weir has a lot of steps - not great if you don't have strong knees.
