INDU Dining

First time dining at Indu and we will definitely return. Food was excellent and the staff were very friendly and helpful with the menu.

Great food, nice service. There is plenty of seating for a party of any size. The main entrance is from the side lane.

I got the vegetarian set menu, food was great and service was amazing staff were all super friendly very accommodating with our dietary requirements

5 of us went to dinner at Indu last night. We loved everything we were served! We ordered the signature feast and a few cocktails. The server was lovely and you could tell that he took his job very seriously and really cared about our experience. 100% would recommend.

Loved it. The ceviche was a highlight, I never had ceviche with coconut and was pleasantly surprised. The eggplant hopper was delicious as well. I would say the starters were better than the mains. The curries were a bit on the bland side, but still good.

I highly recommend this place - had dinner here 25th July 2023. The 2 of us had a fabulous time. Great food, curated drinks, pleasant atmosphere & outstanding service. Special mention to our waitress, Julia, who did a wonderful job!

Great interactions with the staff from the moment we arrived. Requested spicy food so they brought us an extra bowl of chilli sauce to add to our taste. It was our wedding anniversary so they made our dessert special as well. Lovely cosy atmosphere. Very enjoyable dinner with lots of food. The vegetarian set menu is awesome. Recommended!

Normally, I'm not a fan of 'fusion/Westernised' Sri Lankan food - however, Indu does a sensational job of it. We had the set menu and every dish hit the spot. Being from Melbourne, I sincerely hope the new restaurant here is equally great!

The decor is very nice but that's about it. The food is extremely bland and underwhelming, definitely not what I'd expect at the price point. Staff had the audacity to ask for and expect tips - this isn't America, and we weren't a group either, just two people at a casual dinner. Staff kept pushing us to try drinks too and got annoyed when we didn't want to. I've eaten lots of Asian cuisines but this time was the first trying Sri Lankan, apparently Lankan Filling Station is better.

A must try for any vegans out there! We had their vegan tasting menu and the food was delightful. My partner has a garlic intolerance and they were able to accommodate to this on their menu.

Overall, food was interesting and ambience was great.

Great dining experience, we went as group of 6, did the set menu, was delicious. Vegetarian and non vegetarian options available. Kitchen was accomodating to special dietary requirements

I arranged a work lunch at Indu.it was such a lovely experience and the food was delicious. Great vibes and cool atmosphere at Indu. The staff were really helpful, friendly and made organising a big work lunch super easy and flexible. Highly recommend. I'll be back. We had the express lunch for $50 -there was more than enough food for a filling lunch. Great for vegans and vegetarians too.

Always an incredible experience eating here. The staff are very friendly and attentive. Foos is superb and they serve some great G & T’s.

We had a set menu that was well curated to introduce Indu’s cuisine to my guest who was there for the first time. Their “Christmas cocktail” got us started perfectly.
The courses were well thought through and provided a good balanced menu.
The portions were generous and more than enough, which is a welcome change in high-end restaurants.
One of the best parts of our experience was the professional and personable service from Ruby. Great service and thank you!

I have been here about five times and it’s always delicious with great service. They also have a vegan feast night the third Tuesday or each month which is yum.

The chicken and cashew curry had a perfect balance of flavors and aromas - I can’t compare it to anything I had before. Just one of the best curry’s I’ve ever had. The pork belly curry was incredible - I am not a big pork belly eater and a lapped this up. Both dishes had a generous amount of meat and perfectly cooked rice. There was nothing left on my plate.

Amazing service, great food and gorgeous presentation. We tried the Indu Feast and everything that was served was fantastic. The impressive but was that they cater for your dietary requirements too do you can still enjoy the food without any worries.

We had our anniversary there and they gave us free champagne thanks INDU team ️ the service was a amazing too, very friendly and the food is just perfect as always:) I’ve been there twice before and this was my third time:) INDU never disappoints ️
