58 I love it when you least expect it, a company making such an effort to stop the scammers in this world, this company comes out shining.
Independent Reserve is extremely high-quality, they saved me! I highly recommend this company.
BEWARE! Very poor to deal with, transferred a substantial amount of $ via PayID instant transfer and the funds have been sent by the bank, and Independent Reserve have withheld the funds to an AML request, they already have my ID, and now they want a bank statement for 90 days including where my income comes from. This is private personal information. I feel like they are trying to scam me. The won't release the $ I transferred to my account in their system, and they have stopped responding to any support requests, even though they say their support is 24/7, last contact was exactly 5 hours ago! No response, ignore all requests and communication. BEWARE! Do your homework.
Update:
After many delayed messages, and requests to retract funds, they eventually refunded them. They blackmailed me by holding my $ until I did what they wanted. And also they refuse to allow me to withdraw other currencies without giving proof of source of funds.
Also beware this happened as the price dipped from $58000 to $54000, so my funds were tied up and not able to buy at the reduced rate, and now the price is back up to $58000. This seems like a common practice, so that people can't buy at the cheaper price?
I will not be using this company again.
Also beware that this is the same company as bitcoin.com.au look up the ABN they are the same.
Do your research.
I was recommended IR to use for my platform but they are very poor at responding and transferring YOUR money. 30 hours, 3 messages to them and no one can respond. Are they waiting for Bitcoin to drop in price before transferring to my wallet so they can gain instead of transferring when requested when Bitcoin was up $1000 USD.be very cautious
Have been with IP for many years now, but never been as disappointedas yesterday. It took 3 lots of codes to be entered to make the sales and swaps I wanted to do and now they hold my usdt for 3 days? Thanks IP you cost me alot of money yesterday by halting my simple withdrawal. We get in to crypto because we want faster transactions and control of our finances then you act like some super bank and hold our money for 3 days. Do not recommend these guys at all.
One if the few companies that actually have decent customer service. I had some issues with my account and messaged them and a real person got back to me within an hour and continued the process until the problem was actually solved. Thanks guys
Sometime you can live minor problems with the support team but overall safe and nice place to buy sell crypto currencies.
We much appreciated resolution of a technical problem which was resolved by the support team. Spoke with David on the phone and impressed with his patience and ability to explain the steps.
IR have always been great to deal with. Yes sometimes it may take a bit longer for transactions to go through however it is for my own safety so I don't mind that. Super reliable and the support team are great - always there to help. Special shout out to Roger in support - he has been a huge help lately:)
The support team are always extremely quick in responding to customer queries which is very impressive in the current environment of online/phone customer service. Not only can I highly recommend IR as a product/exchange, but the supporting customer service makes IR a very pleasant and stress free business to deal with.
What is going on with independent Reserve? I haven't been able to log into my account for weeks now. I get sent expired links to my email and there is no email address that I can report my problem to. The email on their website doesn't work as I have tried numerous times. There is no phone number on their website. I have to log into my account access better help but I can't log into my account. Very frustrating
It is a great exchange and have had positive experiences with them since creating my account.
Convenient deposit options, most major cryptos listed and useful to provide the tax-report service via their website.
I would have given five stars if they offered staking rewards and supported more assets; still somewhat limited with its range of cryptos, albeit improving.

I cannot believe to get annual Tax statement they charge $49.
This should be free service like all other financial services especially now with the Crypto winter.
Every transaction, whether deposit or withdrawal, appears in my Independent Reserve account or my Bank Account within 3 working days.
Independent Reserve's integrity is solid i.e. What they say they are going to do, they do. Transactions are simple and transparent.
Limited token selection and really awkward UI, especially if you're coming from a solid platform like Binance. But you get the reassurance that you're on a licensed platform and their extremely helpful and responsive customer support does a great deal to make up for Independent Reserve's weaknesses. Think Independent Reserve needs to improve their UI very soon, otherwise they're at risk of users jumping ship to other platforms that obtain licenses.
Thanks for helping me retrieve some of my lost money and the patience and communication while my problems got sorted out with the bank.

I received a telephone call this morning from two gentlemen from Independent Reserve - a company that held fees that I had been in the process of using to trade in cryptocurrency. They questioned my intentions and warned me that there was a possibility I was about to be scammed as the organization to which my funds were about to be transferred showed all the signs of being an overseas company using Australian phone numbers to scam hard working Aussies like myself. These two gentlemen - Roger and David - explained that as the actual transfer was pending it could be stopped and the funds that I had authorized could actually be transferred back to my bank. I was helped to convert the cryptocurrency back to AUD and within ten minutes the dollars I was about to lose to a scammer were back in my Commonwealth account. How could I thank Roger and David enough? It will certainly be a much happier New Year now that these two gentlemen cared enough to warn me. Many, many thanks Roger and David - you deserve the happiest of new years yourselves.
The quality of service which Independent Reserve provides is something that you don't find in many other crypto exchanges. Its customer service is fantastic.
