Teacher is nice. But really lack of management. There always has issues with your passes and no one reply.

No place I'd rather be dancing at than IMI, truly appreciate the community and the people I get to meet here!

My daughter (currently 8yo) joined IMI's kids k-pop classes almost 4 years ago.and has enjoyed it ever since. IMI's staff are very friendly and has always been accommodating towards us. My daughter has been fortunate enough to have such wonderful teachers. I have seen how patient they are to each and every one of their students. You won't need to worry about your child feeling left out. IMI's attentiveness towards your child will get rid of their worries and will begin to just enjoy the class in no time.

I have been wanting to attend IMI dance for over 2 years now and unfortunately, my experience was very disappointing.
At the start of October 2020, I bought a single class pass and booked myself in to a class for the 24th of October at 1PM. When my friend went to book the same class the following day, the class had been cancelled, however, I had received ZERO notifications about this, despite opting in for email and SMS notifications. I then emailed IMI dance and explained what had happened and requested a refund as the pass expired in a months time from the date of purchase and I was not available to take up another class. I received a reply that there was a website error and that I shouldn't have been able to book into that class in the first place and that they would provide me a full refund if I sent them my bank details.
So I sent my details.
One whole week later, I still hadn't received the refund so I sent another email to follow up on this. A couple days had passed with no reply and no refund. I then called up the studio and the person who answered the phone (I did not get a name) stated that sometimes emails get lost, but he would transfer me the money right away, if I texted my bank details to their number. I did this as requested after the phone call ended (this was the 12/10). I never received the refund and I never received any follow up after this.
Following this, a class popped up for the 24th of October in the AM that I could attend. On the one hand, I didn't want to book into this class as I felt that IMI dance did not deserve my money, but on the other hand, it had been a pain and half trying to get my refund, and I was sick of chasing it up. So in the end I decided to book into this class.
I checked my bank account up to the morning of the class and surprise surprise NO REFUND. So I went to the class.
This is where IMI dance continues to disappoint. Upon arriving to the front desk, there was no greeting or smiles from the two people seated there. They just stared. After telling them that I was here for the class and signing in, I got an "okay" and that was it. There was no instructions as to where to put my belongings, no instructions as to where I should go to wait or even instructions regarding if I could bring my water bottle or any indication of a COVID safety plan. (There was pump hand sanitiser that was closed/locked.). I did work it all out myself though, but this is a completely sub par experience for such a highly rated place.
As for the class itself, I found it too fast paced for a beginners class and quite full despite the 20 people cap.
All in all, a complete disappointment from start to end and a waste of money and time.

IMI is honestly one of the top dance studios ~ so many different teachers, different styles and super flexible, especially if you work! Also really comforting environment:)

Have tried out 3 different teachers so far, and thoroughly enjoyed them all! I used to dance back in high school and had always really enjoyed it. Really happy to find a place that does a wide range of dance styles and teachers who are so supportive.

I’ve been there once and it’s a very nice place, great teachers, but i can’t dance well so can’t do anything about that.bit far away though:/

The Best Dance Studio in the Sydney. Highly Recommend if you wanna learn hip hop, kpop and foundation and especially urban choreography.

Teacher was very helpful and made sure everyone knew all the steps. The other staff there were also very friendly.

Very well organised, fun and energetic studio.the teachers are awesome and it’s great for any dance level. (:
