I'm Free Walking Tours Sydney reviews
73Tour guide scott was very nice funny and told the group all about the history of the area. We got to see some special views of Sydney we wouldn't have seen if not for the tour. Thanks Scott for the great tour.
Our tour guide, Owen, was a friendly & informative fellow who had many historical stories that linked in with the places we visited on The Rocks tour.
Booked in for The Rocks tour for my interstate family. A great 1.5hr walking tour around the historical sites accompanied by beautiful views and stories of the past. Owen, our tour guide was so informative and had so many stories and local suggestions up his sleeves! Highly recommend for both tourists and locals alike
A good walking tour in the model known across the world, including site seeing, interesting stories and facts, a bit of history and of course humour. Nice introduction to amazing Sydney
Good fun! Highly recommend this one - a lot of interesting and cool information. Nice humour as a cherry on the cake, thanks Scott!
Did both the morning n evening tour.
Morning tour with a young lad from Bondi who was so bubbly and tried his best to keep us occupied. Knowledgable and got a lot of information. Evening tour was a bit disconnected in my opinion but still worth checking out if you have nothing to do.
This tour is a great way to get to know Sydney. It was entertaining and informative. Our guide Scott shared helpful inside tips. Loved it and would definitely recommend!
Absolutely wonderful tours that I would highly recommend especially if it's your first day in the city. You get a good idea of how you can spend the rest of your days there and gives you an overview of the history of the city.
It was genuinely an awesome experience with the I'm free walking tour. Covered literally the whole Sydney amazingly in such a short span of time. Must do this on your first few days of visit to start your trip with this awesome tour.
Special thanks to OWEN our friendly and fun loving guide who made this tour a fun experience of my whole trip).
I highly recommend you do this tour if you are coming to visit Sydney. It is a great way to get to know the history of the city.
Owen, our tour guide was knowledgeable, informative, funny, engaging and friendly. It was a fun way to meet other people who are also visiting the city.
This is an excellent way to cram in Sydney historical facts, whilst getting ideas for your Sydney visit. Lots of tips and stories from the very informative and friendly guides (ours was Paul).
Highly recommended doing it earlier in your trip schedule that later.
I got to see areas of the city id have never seen if I'd just wandered around myself.
The guides are paid but they do accept tips too, and they do earn them.
Scott was really good, fun and friendly. Really good knowledge and informative. Will definitely do this again.
Joined the 1030 tour on Saturday 15th. Really informative tour and a good way to get a feel for the city.
Really enjoyed this walking tour, our guide Scott was very friendly and knowledgeable. He gave us some good recommendations for places to eat around Sydney too! Definitely recommend to get the most out of a trip to Sydney and to learn about the city's history.
A great tour. Very informative guide with a passion for his city. Would definitely recommend.
Leo was fun, clearly loves Sydney and shared his knowledge of the history, stories and secrets in a fantastic tour. The tour was really well organised, always interesting and fantastic for our family of 5. It even motivated us to experience the Melbourne tour on our return home.
I've done the Sydney sights tour in the morning and the rock tour in the evening. Our guide Scott was incredible! His way of telling us the story of Sydney and the Rocks was amazing, never boring. Easy to follow also for non-native speaker as me. Highly recommended activity to do if you want to know more about Sydney in few hours:) at the end you can pay what it's worth (by cash or card). Great initiative!
The walking tour was excellent. I learned a lot about Sydney's history and got to hear many fun stories of the city's historical and cultural development from my tour guide, Leo. We started at the Town Square and ended at Dawes Point, which provided sweeping views of the Harbour Bridge and Sydney Opera House. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting a great (free!) overview of Sydney to kick off their trip (but you will ultimately want to tip your guide given how great the tour will be!)
Highly recommend these tours. Friendly guides, knowledgeable and very enjoyable.
If you’re taking these tours please consider how much you pay as some tourists don’t show their appreciation well.
