Illawarra Fly Treetop Walk reviews
54We attended the Zip line tour and tree tops walk. I was so impressed with the whole process of the tour, especially the staff. All staff we encountered from reception to cafe were very friendly and helpful. The tour was fun and the guides gave lots of interesting information as we went. They really seemed to enjoy their job and genuinely wanted us to have a good experience. The café food was good quality and value for money if you did the zip line tour.
We visited on a cloudy day and while the long range views were hidden there was something magical about walking among the tree tops shrouded in cloud. Beautiful forest.
We visited the Illawarra fly treetop walk in December 2021. Cost for the treetop walk was $25/adult. The walk itself and the path to and from can accommodate a stroller or similar, although parts of the path to the walkway and back are quite steep. Best views are from the tower and the cantilever at the eastern end. Views are good, even on a poor weather day. There was plenty of parking only a short walk from the entry. An interesting and worthwhile experience, and certainly worth a try.
The staff was awesome and the zip line experience was exhilarating. We had a small hiccup of one of the party getting stuck but staff handled it professionally and safely. Overall a great experience. Only suggestion is they can keep the price more competitive.
Excellent staff and a fantastic experience. Made to feel safe while having a very challenging and fun time. Would definitely recommend to my family and friends
Great for all ages. We managed to do the walk with a 3 year old. Staff were super friendly and the views are amazing. Plenty of room to bring a picnic as well.
Lovely and refreshing tree too walk. Beautiful view from uP there. Little cafe with lots of snacking options. Unfortunately could not do the zip line since it was a spontaneous plan and zipline was sold out. Definitely pre booking recommended!
Bit pricey, but with dine and discover, I cant say no.
The walk is nice, there's some nice views on the walk way. The walk could be longer.
We did the Sky walk. It took about 45 minutes. The facilities are lovely. We were all awestruck.
Kids enjoyed the walk and views.
Highly recommended
Beautiful spot.the lookout is fantastic! Loved the ziplines and bridges and our guides were so helpful, friendly and patient. I'd do it again
Best experience, not for the faint heart or fear of heights. You can see the rest of the city from the top. Must do when you visit Illawarra region.
Wonderful to spend time in nature. The treetop walk is a great experience. The Knight's Tower is challenging with 106 steps but the view is well worth it!
Nice place to go to if you're in the area. The walk is actually pretty quick.
Online booking system is confusing. Once you purchase and receive your voucher, remember to book in a time slot from the link in the email.
Not worth it. If you paid 25$ for it you will feel disappointed for sure.
Even kids didn't find it amusing.
Awesome little adventure. It was 4°c and raining when we went.amazing experience! Even with the weather.tip- if it's cold. Wear gloves?
Gentle walking experience. Go only when not crowded. Snakes and leeches apparently, very reassuring. Wobbly towers and the end stations are great fun for the slightly scared of heights you can use the Merlin annual pass to get access to the tree top walk free of charge, saving you $22
It's a good place for a little fun activity, not very far from Sydney. It's perfect for a day trip.
There is sufficient space for parking. There is a small shop and a cafe where you can get coffee and some wraps. The cafe closes at 3pm, so pack some food if you don't want to visit the cafe or if you visit at odd time. The staff were informative and friendly.
The walk is very easy and is good for all age group. For the adventurous ones, there is a zipline which definitely looked fun. While walking through the treetop walkway, we heard the symphony from different birds, which was a treat to our ears.
Midway, there is a spiral tower (with 106 small steps). From the top of the tower, you get some amazing views.
Overall, a very nice place to visit.
Great views, great atmosphere, would have been 5 star if cafe is opened for a bit long during holiday season.
Great experience, on a windy day, there's a bit of swaying, but very safe. Great views all around
Really an awesome experience. The view from the top is very beautiful. Then had a really good coffee from the cafe.
