7This is a great place to go for some latem or a majlis and they have a nice kids class upstairs, one for girls and one for boys they also have a little kid area where mothers can sit with their kids. Overall a amazing place would go anytime there is a program.
I have visited this centre many times with my family and friends. I always find it to be clean, tidy. The staff are very friendly and organised. The programs that they run is very beneficial. Their aim is to teach Islam and manners to all ages. They have weekly school programs to teach Islamic studies, and Quran. They have yearly quran memorisation competition. They have seperate halls for gents and ladies.also for kids.youth sometimes get special dedicated areas to pay table tennis. Etc.the centre have a good library resources. Also the centre has many courses on line to study E-Hawza courses which is managed by sheikh Mansoor Leghaie.the location is very quite and nice close to cooks river park.you can take a family for a picnic and go for a walk and enjoy scenic views. I fully recommend this centre.it is like the Hub for Knowledge.
To assist parents in providing Islamic education to their children the Imam Husain Islamic Centre is running an Islamic school on Saturday afternoons for children between the ages of six and fifteen in five levels. The main subjects include ‘reading the holy Qur’an’, ‘Islamic beliefs’, ‘Ethics and Morality’, ‘Islamic history and the biography of Ahlul-Bayt (a.s), and ‘Practical laws of Islam’.
This place is the best to go with family, they teach peace, and there is no place for extreemists or radicalism they love all other

Very peaceful and accepting community centre for Muslims and Non-Muslims alike. Strong Iranian presence but quite a few Lebanese attendees.
