Ideal Roofing

Four telephone calls, one missed appointment. All I wanted was a quote ;-). Just move on.

Unfortunately I did not have a pleasant experience with Ideal Roofing. The work carried out was not according to the design we had discussed, resulting in only half the skylights being installed. The contract lacked detail, and when I called to confirm details I was promised everything was according to what we discussed. No sketch of the design was provided despite being told it would.

When I raised the issue, Ideal did not seem willing to re-negotiate on labour or price. Instead, they ‘double-downed’ and said they completed the work according to the contract, knowing full well the contract is not accurate to what we discussed in our meetings and phone conversations.

Take care when signing contracts with this company!

Absolutely fantastic company! Ideal Roofing recently replaced my tiled roof with a beautiful white Colorbond roof. Our home is in Smithfield. The whole process was extremely easy, from getting a quote to the actual work being done. After contacting numerous roofing companies I contacted Ideal Roofing. Phil arrived on the day and time agreed spent a great deal of time on our existing roof. He was very professional which was a pleasant surprise as many of the previous roofing companies representatives I had met with did not even have a ladder nor did they climb on our existing roof. The quotation was emailed to me the same day and the price quoted was extremely reasonable. Phil stayed in touch and kept me up to date with the expected start date. The removal of the old roof and installation of the new one was done very quickly and the team of tradesmen that worked on our roof were polite, considerate and worked hard the entire time. I would highly recommend Ideal Roofing.

These guys did a fantastic job on restoring our roof. We decided to upgrade and replace our old roof tiles with Colorbond - work was completed much faster than I expected and the team were very helpful & friendly.

I would like to apologize to the owner and workers of Ideal Roofing. Their on going commitment to servicing our local shire is of great importance to the growth of our community. We should support our local businesses all we can.
