ibis budget Sydney Airport reviews
73The hotel is what you expect for a cheap stay. Parking is inadequate. First in first served daily basis, which is a hassle.
This hotel is called IBIS budget but apparently they don't participate in the Accor loyalty program, provide no accor benefits, no accor status or reward point earn and don't let you pay with points or gift cards. Would have stayed somewhere else if this had been declared clearly on booking via Accor website. What a scam!
Rooms nice and clean, comfy beds and about a 10min walk to the airport. Exactly what was needed for a quick rest stop between flights
Clean and basic. Perfect for an overnighter between flights & and further travels. Good hot shower. Coffee & tea facities supplied in the room & Tv. Shuttle bus for an appropriate fee. Service efficient. No complaints. Room I had was quiet. Coinage Laundry facilities. Good budget accommodation
This place is good if you want to "save" some money and only staying in Sydney for one night.
The bedroom are really small. My bathroom was less than simple, no shampoo, no soap.
I was okay with the bed until I started to get itchy, and the blankets had a weird smell. I cant tell if that was the soap that they use but I couldn't sleep.
After all, it is a hotel that focuses on location.
There are Mac and KFC nearby, so you won't have to worry about filling your stomach.
This is especially recommended for those who are taking a domestic flight early the next morning, or for those who arrive late and don't want to wander around in unfamiliar territory, as it's about a 10-minute walk from the airport and there are guides available.
On the other hand, there are really minimal beds and showers, so if you are on a honeymoon or a couple's trip, for example, it will be a little expensive, but I think you should consider hotels next door, hotels in Sydney, and hotels near Mascot Station. Masu.
The hotel has an unbeatable location, the service is very simple, the minimum they can offer and the rooms are very small and lack equipment such as a bathroom partition and a translucent curtain.
Qantas booked us into this hotel due to an issue with our flight (I’ll review them separately and not let that experience influence this review) and what a terrible night it’s been. The room is dingy (only two of the three lights work and even those are pathetic), the hallways look like something from the 1970’s, the dining area was a disgrace, the food was just so so, and most members of staff members were plain rude. I overheard several other guests equally disgusted.
My husband & I were only in for one night - needing a place to sleep. We had travelled to Sydney by rail after lunch on one day, and we're catching a flight the next day, hence just the o/night stay. The bed was very comfortable; plenty of hot water for a shower; everything was spotless; access to meals convenient (next door). Staff at reception were welcoming and friendly; gave us directions when requested, and when booking shuttle bus seats for us, left us in no doubt when and where we would board. We would not hesitate to utilise the convenience of the Ibis Budget Sydney Airport for future trips like this one.
Walk quite a distance, stay on the 6th floor, the water flows very lightly, there is no hair dryer.good air conditioning system But the noise rang all night, couldn't sleep.
Nice place, nice atmosphere, good vibes, good people, good staffs very friendly, nice good looking back packers internationals. Check it out yourself.
Stayed here on recommendation of a Kingsford Smith Airport, Sydney employee. A great hotel within walking distance of Municipal Terminal and train station. The front desk staff were so helpful beyond expectations. Great here for a couple of days between stopovers. Every food outlet imaginable is also within easy walking distance. Most rooms and restaurant are wheelchair accessible. Highly recommended.
Is what it says it is, cheap accommodation. Not sure what it was but looked like mould in bathroom.
Clean and tidy. Krispy Kremes Maccas and KFC NEXT door. 10min easy walk to domestic terminal. Great for stop over.
Budget hotel but service 5 star hotel.the best budget hotel.
Staff really help full.
Good for traveller transit, they help print out our emergency document for flight.
Really appreciate.
Thankyou
Comfy bed and good location. It's definitely not a luxury hotel, and there are not many facilities. It's still doing its job, plus very cheap. Mantra Restaurant and Bar next door also offer some good meals.
Hope they fix the WIFI, because there is no phone in the room.
Simple, clean room close to the airport and easy check in /check out with friendly staff. I will definitely use this place again
If you are a light sleeper don’t pick here as the airport noise is very loud compared to the Mantra next store. It’s not as clean in the room as could be either. It’s a cheap stay for a reason.
Room is basic but it's clean.quite sufficient for a one night stay.staff member on front counter at check in was lovely.
The staff was rude and wouldn't let us in without ID. It should say after you've booked that you need ID to beable to check in.
