4 We built a granny flat with Cubitt's down at St Georges Basin NSW for our little holiday house away from Sydney for our weekends away. Covid hit just as construction was about to begin and we were in lock down so was not able to see anything on site for months due to the lockdowns in Sydney. We loved the weekly updates and photos that were emailed through from our site supervisor Scott, as this was the only way we could see anything that was happening on site and also allowed us to communicate with our tenants that were in the main house, of what trades were scheduled to be going there the following week to give them a heads up.
By the time lock down lifted and we were able to leave Sydney, our granny flat was built. The workmanship on the Granny Flat was great couldn't fault anything. I can't even give advice on what to do better or improve on- only thing I will say is that we LOVED the communication of weekly updates of emails and photos please keep this going

My mum in law built on my land with permission.
When they put her electrical box onto mine. My electric bill skyrocketed. So I spoke the the team about it. No1 looked at my box they told me I had changed
So I got an independent electrician out. He found an unearthed wired. My fuse was burnt out. The granny flat company electrician then came out that's not my work.
They were lucky my house didn't burn down due to the fault of these service people
My hot water blew as it was boiling 24/7 for 6 weeks my electric bill went from 114 a month to 300+ I contacted them sent through all paper work and no response from them
I paid for the electrician $275 and my electric bills that were high

This is not good enough this is the worst I'm just glad my house didn't burn down
I would not recommend these people as I saw the final work that was completed at my in-laws place very rushed.
