Top radiology service i never have had to wait long even for films it's all so fast great place for xrays they are gentle and nice and care for you they always ask if you are okay if waiting around reception area

Very poor. Report for a simple CT done on Tuesday afternoon could not be turned around for Thursday afternoon. GP followed up and told it would be done for the next day and it was not. Extremely poor staffing contingency if the illness of one person means results are unreasonably delayed like this

Worst customer service I ever got. Even though I made a customer complaint, my problem still wasn’t solved. The staff there are so rude and not responsible!

My doctor told me I was booked for an appointment at a specific time. I put it in my diary. The day before, I get a text message saying I must be there half hour earlier. I call because I could not move my day to get there any earlier (that last minute) BEFORE the time i was scheduled. When i called to explain i could not get there before the scheduled time, , the receptionist yasmin was very defensive wanting to blame to doctor for not telling me to arrive a half hour earlier, than the SCHEDULED time

. I -Med, make the SET time a half hour earlier if it is that when you want the patient to be there! ! Don't schedule it a half hour LATER and expect people to before then!

She refused to offer any way to solve the problem. All she wanted to do was blame someone else and focus on that, not finding a way to still get me in when I was able to arrive there.

Really disappointed how far she went to take no initiative to help. She isn't about customer service or assistance, it's about making the patient jump through hoops to be there whenever they want, not whenever the appointment was made for.

PS it really doesn't have to be this comicated! Go next door (literally) and talk to Castlereagh imaging to get a few tips for what customers service actually means!

MRI staff very friendly and professional, pity the same can't be said for the receptionists, who are rather rude and impersonal, spending more time on phones dealing with upcoming appointments than attending to people who are actually there for a procedure, despite being told that the medical staff are actually waiting for them.

Got CT injo done on the 14th of January so you can gather my that my heart specialist and I were concerned about blockages, unfortunately they have not prepared a result or report for me or for my specialist. I have called them about four times since getting the scan done twice I was promised that I should have the report by a certain day and yet nothing till date. I have been promised a phone call today let’s see how that pans out. Does not look like that Aimen has the care factor utterly disappointed

I took my elderly mother to iMed Westmead for an X-ray on her right knee after an unfortunate fall. The iMed staff, their personal service and more specifically, their sensitive attention to my mother was exceptional … they were very considerate to her age and her lack of mobility which made the experience a pleasurable one to remember… Thank you to all those who helped.

The lady at the front desk has poor customer service skills. She was rather rude, not what you would expect at a private hospital.
The referral for my wife’s ultrasound was urgent and she didn’t even bother checking availability for the next day, instead she picked a date 3 days later. It wasn’t a pleasant experience. The wait time was over 45mins.

I have to commend Dr Colin Tan who picked up a shoulder labrum tear on ultrasound which was confirmed by MRI. I have since learnt this is quite difficult to do and when I got an ultrasound on the same shoulder a year later after a fall at a different radiology network closer to home, they were not able to pick it up at all. I will make the trip to return to imed Westmead in the future, I trust their imaging!

Today I had a procedure at imed westmead i must say everyone i spoke to in the facility was amazing however the girl on reception i overheard her name i think jasmine was just lovely
the lady who did my procedure was just brilliant she talked me
through the whole procedure constantly checking if i was ok and she was so caring and i believe her name was sue
so please understand how your kindness was appreciated

I rang them on thursday to book for my MRI and lady at receptionist tried to rip me off by making me pay for it whereas my Dr. Said it is covered by medicare. She gave me a reason that my clinical notes does not fulfill the criteria. After that I rang I-med marsden park and she explained to me that I need to pay for it if I do it at Marsden park but castle hill and Westmead should be covered by my medicare. She even booked me same day for a MRI at castle hill and it was covered by medicare. She even offered me to book at Westmead since it was also covered by Medicare and it was close to my house but I didn't fell like going there so I choose castle hill and they were great. Just a suggestion guys please ring other I-med before doing anything here.

When I made the appointment, the staff member over the phone asked me whether it is referred by GP or specialist. I said GP. After some checking, the staff member has kindly let me know that I will pay the full fee first and I will get 80% back from Medicare, so there will be an out of pocket fee of approximately $140, but if it was referred by a specialist then there is no out of pocket expense. With the information given in mind, I happily made the decision to make the appointment.

Having done the procedure, I have been told that I will need to pay the full fee and no rebate from Medicare. This is of course surprising news and contradictory to what I have been informed.

It is not patient’s responsibility to have a good knowledge of when and how Medicare updates their policy. Patient made the decision based off what we have been informed at the time of appointment. It is quite disappointing to see staff member at I Med deals issues like this in such an unprofessional manner.

Amazing service. The lovely female ultrasound person who did my test yesterday evening was amazing. She made the whole process easy and there was no embarrassing moment. Thanks I-Med and the lady who performed the test. This is my go to place for scans and tests.

Very very worst service… sending images to patients and not sending reports to Doctor. I was calling them from the morning to inform send report to my Doctor but no one is picking my call. I sent email to customer service as well. What is logic of sending X-ray images to patient and not sending the report to Doctor? Without report what to do? Does it make sense? I want my report to send right now. I don’t want any images to me. I am myself not a Doctor to look into it.

My wife been there 4 days ago for fine needle aspiration for possible breast cancer and seen by Dr Mark W. He Has been very unprofessional and very rude and impatient. As my wife explained, He could not find and locate the lump and asked the nurse to help him and show him where the lump is. Finally after 3 attemps he could not get enough sample and it was mixed with blood and was nondiagnostic and my wife has to go through second biopsy which has a risk of spreading if the lump is malignant. In his report tried to blame my wife distress for his lack of self confidence and incompetence. I do not recommend this centre and in paticular that doctor.

How can you sleep peacefully when the person who went for your report struggle to get the report for 2 days even when Doctor marked the report URGENT? Doctor, receptionist and we all were trying to reach you since 3pm but no one picked up the call. One picked up and told they will send Fax. Waited 2 hours even when the patient wasn't feeling well. Nobody cared to even respond. Hours on waiting. No one picks up the phone and at 5pm.the message was like - we are closed for the day. Now you are closed for weekends as well. Never had such a worst experience.
