To be honest my experience here was really unpleasant, I booked for a dating scan and the American lady (who didn’t even introduce herself) said she was unable to do the scan because I was too far gone in the pregnancy. I explained to her how I told the receptionist on the phone when booking the appointment and she said it was completely fine at 13 weeks. I just wish they told me this before coming to the appointment with my husband who booked time off work. I asked her would it be okay to quickly check to see if everything was okay with the baby but she refused and was very short with me. She also asked my husband to stand outside which I also felt very uncomfortable with. The whole experience was very unpleasant and unprofessional and lacked in any customer service. I would recommend to MED Miranda they are much much better there.

As someone who is very anxious about getting scans done.

I just had 2 Cortisone injections in my right thumb this morning with Dr. Fain.cortisone in your thumb is not a pleasant experience.arrived feeling a little anxious due to my previous experiences. Dr. Fain was amazing.he was very caring, gentle, knowledgeable and professional.he has definitely eased my anxiety with this procedure. Thank you Dr. Fain.

Great experience! Everyone from reception to the radiographer were so helpful, friendly and lovely to deal with. Radiographer had me in stitches laughing at one stage. Although it’s further away for me, I’ll definitely be choosing Menai over other places. Thank you!

I am writing this review for my mother who does not own a computer. She was so impressed she wanted me to write something. She had been suffering severe pain in her hip for months. Her ultra sound showed severe bursitis. Vicki the sonographer was great, she was very professional, caring and respectful to my mother. She got Dr Fain in to review the ultra sound, he was very concerned about the severity of the bursitis and the amount of pain Mum was suffering. He immediately performed injection of cortisone, instant relief. Thankyou so much.

There would be NO star rating but that did not open the review page. Today I was informed by the receptionist who responded to my online booking that the ultrasound to my shoulder would cost $160 and payable on the day! I rang two other imaging centres NOT I-med obviously and told me it IS covered by Medicare! Unprofessional I-Med Menai!

I was in a car accident and suffered from a concussion.
I was referred by my doctor to get a CT scan as soon as possible and was booked in that same day as it is an urgent matter. Upon arriving, i showed the receptionist my referral papers and she refused me the right to get the scan done as the doctor had noted i had been in the car accident. I explained to her that i want to get the scan done on bulk billing and that i lodge a claim in to my insurance company after the scan is complete. (As advised by my insurance company.) The receptionist said sarcastically, that that is called "fraud" and refused the scan. I am disgusted at the behaviour of the receptionist and for refusing me the right to see the doctor for this urgent matter. If i could give 0 stars i would. Honestly, save your time and go elsewhere.

Strongly recommend. My doctor booked me in for a CT scan as an urgent request and I got fitted in on the same day. I was extremely nervous as I've never had a CT scan before let alone I don't like cannulas! But the lovely lady I had was amazing and was so good putting the cannula in, I couldn't feel it at all. She also settled my nerves by guiding me through everything. I wish I knew her name! Reception staff are lovely as well.

Took my 2 year old up today to be seen. The office itself is clean, hand sanitiser available and social distancing being observed well. Front staff were lovely, there was very minimal wait time, and the radiographer actually came out and spent some time building rapport with my daughter before we went in so she wasn't scared. Images are really clear and everything went really well! Super impressed and happy with our time there!

I visited the centre today. All staff were exceptionally friendly and caring. Sue was compassionate and very sensitive towards my needs. Thanks guys. I've never experienced a service like this in any other radiology centre!

Deceptive and dishonest.
I can't give 0 stars but I would if I could.

I went to IMED in Menai in June for a Cortisone injection. My GP had given me a referral and instructed 'Please bulk bill' on the referral. I handed the referral to the receptionist and was instructed to take a seat. The procedure finished I returned to the reception area and was told the cost was $300 odd dollars and there was a Medicare rebate of $140 approx.

I have been unwell this year and have made numerous appointments for specialists, imaging etc and on every occasion (except with IMED Menai) when I rang to make an appointment I was told the cost upfront and the Medicare rebate amount.

IMED have an obligation to tell people the cost upfront, both when the appointment is made and then confirmed prior to the appointment.

The reason for the late review is due to my GP requesting the injections be done again and when I told him the cost at IMED Menai he was horrified. I have now found out that the procedure can be bulk billed, which is even more reason that IMED have an obligation to tell people the cost upfront.

It is dishonest not to tell customers up-front the amount which will be charged to give customers an opportunity before the procedure is done to make a decision as to whether they will have the procedure done at IMED Menai for $300.00 or at another provider for $0. I wonder which option most people would choose?

I have visited the practice many times over the last few years and can say that the staff at Menai have shown exceptional compassion and empathy. They are very professional and always have room for a smile. My experiences there have been positive and friendly.

My Mother is a cancer patient, and was referred to get an X-ray of her shoulder due to pain. The radiologist on (will not name) took my Mother's X-ray, and told her afterwards her cancer had spread to her bones in her arm and shoulder. My Mum's Oncologist sent her for further testing, which proved there was NO CANCER in her bones. I-med radiology gave my Mother a false diagnosis, which was absolutely traumatic for her to go through. If this practice gives you certain results, make sure you get a second opinion.

Not the friendliest of staff, even the reception staff looked jaded. I had an injection in my shoulder and when I asked about what I could do afterwards was in regards to to exercise I was told don't take up rowing!?
It's handy to the area, but they need some work on "customer Service"

I am writing this review on behalf of my Grandmother, Diane, as she is not good with computers. Diane has been attending this practice for the past 10 years and has always found the staff to be friendly and efficient. She attended the practice on Tuesday for a knee x-ray and was attended to quickly, even though she did not have an appointment. The gentleman who looked after her Ian, was friendly, kind and helpful to her. The staff are the same people now as I-Med as when they were Southern Radiology. She will continue to attend I-Med at Menai with confidence.

Very disappointed with the service. My son was not made aware of exact cost of the test and what rebate he will receive. The report was also sent to wrong doctor; totally different practise.

Last time I was here I waited over an hour with a full bladder before I was seen to and now I’m here again been waiting over half an hour and listening to one of the technicians giving a job interview or something similiar on the phone. I never had to wait long when it was southern radiology, not sure what’s the deal with all the delays. Since I’ve been here not one person in the waiting room has been seen to.

Very disappointed in the level of service given to my younger sister. Overcharged for a non-personable, rude consultation. I do not recommend going here.
