Hyde Park reviews
47I love it. It's a beautiful park and you can see the big buildings and lots of nature.
It's a very beautiful park. It is connected to St. Mary's Cathedral just across the road. The comfort of a lush tree tunnel. It's like the lungs of downtown Sydney.
Near the museum station, if you want to go to the Australian Museum & St. Marry's Cathedral, just cross Hyde Park. The garden is spacious, lots of trees and flowers, there is a fountain too
It is a good for walking and exercise. Most weekends has protest demonstrations or parties.
This is a park in downtown Sydney where you can leisurely stroll. You can also sit down and relax on the lawn.
Love the green and the shades in Hyde Park. It is my favourite spot for the daily walk when I work in the office.
Soooo Special and Beautiful and not crowded at all, it's early evening when I walked through Hyde Park.so many memories of Hyde Park.some much blurred but hey it was STILL AWESOME
In this dangerously forgotten place in the Linpiesa lives a small child in need who asked for help and has not been heard for a transfer. I do not know the rights of the child are respected.
Hyde park is a really nice space, lots of nature and beautiful statues only wish they had more facilities to allow enjoyment of the grassed areas like some benches as it's such a lovely space
Either you are a tourist or a local, passing by Hyde Park is a good idea to refresh you amidst the bustling and stressful Sydney Central city. There are plenty of benches to sit on. You can lay a mat/blanket on the grass & bask yourself for some sunlight. Just don't reach the late afternoon or evening since there are a lot of bats who keeps on pooping everywhere! I walk & pass here on purpose whenever I go to St. Mary's Cathedral. There are also a man who plays the piano or some musical instrument near the fountain which adds to its good ambiance. A lot of Chinese do some prenuptial photos here (w/ the Catholic Church as their background which is weird if they're actually Buddhist.lol)
Beautiful park, amazing gardens and water features. The ANZAC war memorial is situated in Hyde Park to commemorate our soldiers past and present. St Mary's cathedral with its astounding architecture is situated across from Park.
Hyde Park is a heritage-listed 16.2-hectare (40-acre) urban park located in the central business district of Sydney, in the City of Sydney local government area of New South Wales, Australia. It is the oldest public parkland in Australia. Hyde Park is on the eastern fringe of the Sydney city center and is approximately rectangular in shape, being squared at the southern end and rounded at the northern end. It is bordered on the west by Elizabeth Street, on the east by College Street, on the north by St. James Road and Prince Albert Road and on the south by Liverpool Street.
Lots of park benches which seem to be rather full from all positive walks of life. This during a week day. Also the grass areas had plenty of people enjoying it with some native birds to look at.
Great scenery to snap a photo for a background on your computer or just wander around and share an experience of the sites in Sydney.
Great place for a stroll or jog when the weather is good. Well maintained park with great atmosphere.
Lovely smaller park in the heart of Sydney. It's no where near the size of London's, but does the trick for a brief respite from the city drone.
Always feel free to reach out to me on Twitter @joerazz
Beautiful and so well manicured! Definitely a must visit. Great for a peaceful stroll, or a afternoon picnic.
A lovely place to visit when its warm, people come here to relax, study and simply take a moment of fresh air. I also highly recommend coming with friends, family etc for a nice experience.
Always interesting here to qatch people play garden chess. Watch people in the park resturant and cafe. Good place to see there is still a happy world out there
